GPS and Sonar Dredge Guidance
SaskAlta’s advanced equipment, complete with GPS technology, provides real-time positioning and guidance to our dredge operators. GPS and sonar guidance allows the ability to remove the sediments from the bottom of lagoon/ponds without harming the liner or removing any of the water. SaskAlta’s dredges are capable of cleaning out facilities while they are still in operation, without the need to remove/relocate the water above the residual material.
