This is a community for anyone in the Sarasota/Bradenton area to post about events, places of interest or anything they really want. But please try and keep it relevant to the Sarasota/Bradenton/Venice area. I've already added anyone who's got Sarasota or Bradenton in their interests list or location, so if this appears randomly on your journal and you're wondering why, that's the reason. If you have any suggestions as to what should be added to the interests list either drop me an E-mail or just post it and I'll put it on there. If you're not on the list don't feel left out, this currently is still a work in progress, and let me tell you, there are ALOT of LJ users in Sarasota/Bradenton. You can always add yourself. Helps me immensely.
To clear things up, Loose Posting Guidelines are as follows:
1) Events in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Venice area
2) Social activities among residents of the Sarasota/Bradenton/Venice area. (i.e. Driving to concert in Tampa, party at my house, movie night, etc.)
3) Places of interest in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Venice area
A general rule to go by is:
If you think it could work in your personal journal, it probably should be there. If you're not sure, go ahead and post it. If it's gone in a day, you'll know what happened. It's not a punitive measure, just a means to keep order.
DO NOT PROMOTE COMMUNITIES HERE UNLESS THEY HAVE TO DO WITH THE BRADENTON/SARASOTA AREA. RATING COMMUNITIES DO NOT APPLY.
