Boyun Choe

Dr. Boyun Choe is current associated as a faculty member with the Department of Culture and Content at Sangji University, Korea. Before joining Sangji, She worked as an associated research fellow at the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute(KCTI), a government-affiliated research organization under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Korea. After obtaining her MA in Performing Arts Administration at New York University, she earned her PhD in Cultural Policy at the University of Warwick, UK. She also completed her Post-doctoral fellowship funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea at Seoul National University of Education. Before pursuing her academic career she worked as an arts administrator in the United States and Korea. 

Her research and teaching interests include, but are not limited to, arts and cultural policy & practice (in the UK and Korea), cultural engagement, arts education, performing arts, culture contents policy and local cultural planning.
