About Me

Hello, I am Sangwoo Youn. I am an undergraduate student in the School of Computing at KAIST, with a strong passion for Computer Vision, Generative Models, and Vision Language Models.

My primary goal is to solve real-world problems through advanced AI research. Currently, I am a Research Intern at the KAIST Visual AI Group (Advisor: Prof. Minhyuk Sung), where I am conducting research on Vision Language Models. Prior to this, I gained valuable research experience as a Research Intern at the KAIST CVML Lab (KAIRI) (Advisor: Prof. Hyunjung Shim), investigating the detection of synthetic images generated by diffusion models.

I also demonstrated my independent research capabilities at SK Telecom AI Fellowship, where I developed a "Screen Size Adaptive Video Retargeting" technique and was awarded the Grand Prize (1st Place).
