The objective of this research was, first, make the first Spanish translation of the Traite des a... more The objective of this research was, first, make the first Spanish translation of the Traite des animaux (Ou, apres avoir fait des observations critiques sur le sentiment de Descartes et sur celui de M. de Buffon, on entreprend d’expliquer leurs principales facultes) written by Etienne de Condillac; and, secondly, to analyze its content in the context of the work of Condillac and of the epoch, considering the theoretical interest in his study traverses the Age of Enlightnment. Both objectives have been met in full. The book was translated and is already registered in the National Direction of Copyright (record n° 5250881). The title of the work in Spanish is: Tratado de los animales (En el que, luego de haber hecho observaciones criticas sobre la manera de pensar de Descartes y de Buffon, se intentan explicar sus principales facultades). We have read and studied all the literature needed to write the introductory study. Regarding the contributions, there are two to point out. First, ...
