Felicia Tafuri

She graduated in “Filologia, letterature e civiltà del mondo antico” at the University of Naples “Federico II” with a thesis in Latin language and literature about a Latin fragment on papyrus (P.Hamb. II 167) studied during a research period at the University of Hamburg.
She recently obtained a PhD in Latin language and literature at the University of Salerno with a thesis on Pliny the Elder and his books on mineralogy and history of art (focusing on their reception in Late Antiquity and the early Middle Ages).
She worked as a fellowship young researcher of the PLATINUM project (University of Naples), in which she studied two Latin texts on papyrus.
In parallel with her doctoral studies she collaborated with "MEL - Medioevo Latino. A Bibliographical Bulletin of European Culture from Boethius to Erasmus (VI–XV Century)" at SISMEL (Società Internazionale per lo Studio del Medioevo Latino) and with the Centre "Traditio Litterarum Occidentalium" (CTLO) of Brepols Publishers NV, working on the online database "Library of Latin Texts" (LLT). From November 2019 to February 2020 she was a visiting scholar at KU Leuven.
