Listens: Somebody Told Me by The Killers

Mash-Ups And Other Garbage

Gashi soshite aisatsu, everyone, and welcome to Sasori's Rock. For those of you who don't know, a mash-up is when you take two songs and, well, "mash" them together. I invented a new mash-up. I have the songs "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Somebody Told Me" stuck in my head at the same time. And let me tell you, Paul Simon and The Killers do not mix. Blech. (That's all very well and good, but could you stop humming your little invention? Now it's stuck in my head!) It is? Hehe. (It's not funny! *Taps forehead* This brain provides inspiration for you, remember?) ...And? (And if my brain is cluttered with mutilated musical fragments, your ideas will be full of them!) Oh, right. Here, listen to this. (What is it?) Garbage. (Oh, of course! As if your twisted little mash-up wasn't bad enough, now you want me to listen to music you know is bad!) Takusan, Garbage is the name of the band. (Oh. Sumimasen.) Just go sit over there and listen to it, baka. (I'm going, I'm going! Yeesh...) Well, I don't have much to say, except that I missed Inuyasha yesterday and I am really, really angry about it. Such is life, I guess. I was talking to a friend of mine today, and we discussed the subject of anime shows. It was concluded that in anime, two plus two can equal fish, because none of it makes sense anyway. Speaking of friends, I didn't see Saranie Lisi today. Hang on a sec, folks. HEY, TAKUSAN KANGAE! (Huh? What? I can't hear you, Sasori! The headphones are blocking out the- OW! What was that for?!) *Drops headphones, which were just ripped from Takusan's ears* Did you see Shousrtsu Ongaku today? (Saranie's muse? No...why?) I didn't see Saranie either...this is weird. (Didn't she say Mama Cow was sick?) Come to think of it, hai. Her dad has pneumonia, too. (Well no wonder you haven't seen her. She probably has the plague. *Puts headphones back on*) Wow, I didn't even think of that. Saranie, if you're reading this, get well soon! I hope to see you tomorrow. Oops, looks like my mac and cheese is done, folks. I have to go now. Takusan! (What?! I can't hear you!) *Sigh* Adiosu, everyone. We'll see you next time at Sasori's Rock.

Aikou kara Sasori! (OW! Let go of my ear!)
