Choir People

Gashi soshite aisatsu, everyone, and welcome to Sasori's rock! (Konnichiwa!) I suppose you're all wondering why I haven't been updating so consistently as of late. (Sasori, I didn't want to tell you this, but I think you should know...) What is it, Takusan? (NOBODY CARES!) Kami-sama, would you calm down?! Yeesh! I'm perfectly aware that nobody cares. Sometimes I just like to indulge the fantasy that perhaps somebody does. (Oh. Sumimasen.) *Sigh*. You are truly hopeless, Takusan Kangae. Anyway, I thought I'd just drop everybody a line to say that the reason I haven't updated is because I had a choir concert to go to last night and I was not prepared for that level of confusion. I'm okay now, though. There was a banquet after the concert at a restaurant/dining hall called Santenello's. (Very classy.) I sat with my parents, my best friend Saranie, her parents, Mama Cow, and Grant. (Mama Cow?) Yeah, that's Saranie's sister's nickname. She's the section leader for the Sopranos in Concert choir (correct me if I'm wrong, Saranie, that was just speculation) and she treats all the other choir members in her section like her kids, which I for one find to be absolutely adorable. (And for this they call her Mama Cow?) Hai. They're very strange. Oh yeah, and Grant is Mama Cow's boyfriend. He sang a duet with her at the concert. It was "All I Ask of You" (is that what it's called?) from Phantom of the Opera. It was very sweet. I would like to give thanks to Megan, my partner in confusion, and Tambri, for yelling at me when I went the wrong direction. Oh, and Brett, too. (Why Brett?) Because after three weeks of constant badgering, he finally tried out for (and got the part of) the Charlie Brown solo. (Huh? Oh! I get it! "Why's everybody always pickin' on me". Ilove that song!) Hai, me too. Brett has the perfect voice for it, so we all made him try out. He did a great job. Well, that's all for today! See you next time at Sasori's Rock! (Adiosu! -Snippets of conversation overheard in public places (ex. "No, you may not borrow my uvula," and "Parking like a Jew." (FYI: A uvula is that little dangly thing that hangs down in the back of your throat.)
