Y'all aren't gonna believe this.

Yesterday I got a note in the mail-- no address, someone came by and dropped it off-- from a "secret admirer" who wants to meet me at the movies today at 5:30. I think it's my friend Vince; I know his handwriting and he uses correct grammar and knows where I live. I'm going, because it'd be mean to leave him standing in the theater waiting for me, but I feel kind of bad about it. It's like...honey, you know I'm gay. And dating someone. I just don't know what to tell him other than that.

Who knows? If I'm lucky, maybe it's just a friend thing and he wanted to do something nice for me. Which would be cool. But somehow I doubt it...oh well. At the very least, we'll get to hang out. We don't do that very often outside of school, which is a shame.

Someday this boy is going to find a girl who's straight and not a jerk. *sigh*

ETA: On a completely unrelated note, this guy is my friend Noah's uncle. He's pretty cool; check him out. My favorite is "Light of the Night". (He totally looks like Noah. It's hard to tell with the giant glasses, but he does.)
