Nocturnal Behavior

Gashi soshite aisatsu! Last night I saw the first episode of Inuyasha that I ever saw again. It was the one where Inuyasha had to bring Kagome her lunch and was scratching his ear with his foot on the windowsill (heehee). Anyway, I am now the proud owner of two adorable Leopard geckos! Their names are Art and Liz, and they live in a terranium in my room next to the window. As it turns out, geckos are nocturnal. That means we have something in common! If my weird behavior isn't indication enough, I don't get nearly as much sleep as I should (Grandma, if you're reading this, don't tell Mom. She'll worry). Therefore, I think the geckos and I will be getting along just fine. Hmmm...what else, what else...sumimasen, folks, my life is boring today. Oh well. Oh, wait a minute! I have something sad but vaguely interesting to report. If any of you read my blog regularly, you know that I've been writing a book. Well, I am deeply sorry to say that one of my characters died. Ah, such is life. What happened was that I was writing and when I got to the end of the chapter, I looked back and thought to myself How did that happen? He was supposed to live! Sometimes you just have to go with the flow, even if the flow leads you down the path of destruction. *Sigh*. Anyway, I have almost no inspiration now, because Takusan Kangae (my muse) is in Egypt at the 847th annual Muse Convention. He called last night to say that he wouldn't be back until Saturday and to leave the phone on so he could come back when I was sleeping to give me some ideas. That's how it works, according to legend: The muse brings inspiration to the artist while he/she sleeps. I can't believe him. He ran up my phone bill AND killed one of my characters?! That muse is toast when he gets home. Oh shoot, he's probably reading this! Takusan, I didn't mean it, you have to believe me! Nanitozo? Takusan? Oh, great, now he's never coming back! Sumimasen, but I have to go now. Adiosu!

Aikou kara Sasori!

I wonder where I can get a cheap ticket to Egypt...
