Wicked Fangirl of The Midwest

(Welcome back, folks. I'm typing again, on account of Sasori's unfortunate condition. She's been fangirling like mad since Wednesday.) I saw Wicked! It was the best thing ever in the history of the universe! I mean, it was really, really incredible! Man, I used to think Phantom of The Opera was good! Well, it is good, it's very good, but I think Wicked is my new favorite play. It was really that cool. (What did I tell you? She's been doing this for days. I don't know how much more I can take.) I will never be able to watch The Wizard of Oz again. I used to love that movie, but now it has an entirely different meaning. Wicked just completely changed my view on it. (She's been going on about how Dorothy is a brat and the Lion needs to grow up and stop being a baby. That kind of thing.) Oh! And the music! The music was incredible. My favorite song was What Is This Feeling, or maybe Defying Gravity. I haven't decided yet. I bought the soundtrack, so I get to listen to the music anytime I want! (She won't stop singing the soundtrack. The songs are good, but she's starting to drive me up the wall.) I'm kind of ticked that it turns out my friend Alex has the soundtrack and could've burned it for me, but at least I get the actual CD case and the lyrics and everything. I wish I could've gotten the shirt that says "defy gravity", though. Also, I need to finish reading the book. (She won't stop going on about the darn book. I wish she'd just check it out of the library and read it.) I cried at the end. (It was embarrassing.) Takusan cried too, but he won't admit it. Cue denial. (Hey! I did not cry!) Aaaand there we go. Well, anyway, aside from Wicked, I have a new writing project I've been working on. (She's writing her own version of Through The Looking Glass, better known to some of you as Alice in Wonderland.) I've been researching and everything. (By "researching", she means that she watched the Disney movie and read some excerpts on the internet.) If you read into it enough, it's actually a pretty creepy story. (Oh, most definitely. Didn't they make a horror/action video game out of it?) Hai. American McGee's Alice. It's quite disturbing. (Indeed. So, anyway, tell them about the story.) Right. Well, it has the same basic plot and characters as the original story, but it's set in a highschool. I know it sounds stupid, but I really don't think it's that bad. Plus, it's fun to write. (And that's the most important part of writing. Unless you're doing it for money.) Right. Well, that's about all we had to say. See you next time!

Aikou kara Sasori!

THINGS I DON'T UNDERSTAND

- The Scarecrow. Does being made of straw and burlap itch?
- The Tin Man. Does he get uncomfortably hot if he stands out in the sun too long?
