Spookiest Time Of The Year
Gashi soshite aisatu, and welcome to Sasori's Rock! Today we'll be having a very short Halloween update just for the sake of holiday spirit. Now, since I will be taking lessons on the Japanese language starting next Monday (No kidding! It's going to be awesome!) I would wish you a happy Halloween in Japanese, but as it turns out, they don't celebrate All Hallow's Eve in Japan. They do celbrate O-bon, sort of a Japanese day of the dead, and recently they have been taking up the western tradition of wearing costumes of October 31st. They refer to this as costume play, or kosupure. Now that I've ladled out a bit of Japanese culture, let's move on to the next topic: my costume. Hai, I will be dressing up this Halloween as the Grammatic Avenger, a superhero I invented who works to rid the world of errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling. I have a cape and a mask and everything. Now, Takusan- (MUWAHAHAHA!) -*sigh* will be dressed as a vampire. (I vant to suck your blood!) Hai, Takusan, very charming. Your plastic fangs are falling out. (Oh, shoot! Hang on, let me go fix them.) Anyway, whatever your plans are on this dreadful night, whether trick-or-treating, passing out candy, TPing your neighbor's yard or crashing a few masquerades, my undead companion and I would like to wish you all a very...
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Aikou kara Sasori! (And remember...I'm watching you! MUWAHAHAHA!) Give it a rest, Count Shmuckula. (Sumimasen.)
