A/N: Written for a prompt at kinkytail: "Lisanna/Juvia/Gray - Lisanna teaches Juvia how to catch Gray's attention". I am poor at maintaining anonymity. Reposted primarily for archiving purposes.

It's good to be back, but it's strange to see how much has changed - or, in some cases, to remember what hasn't. Her siblings are different but the same but different (it's comforting how easy it is to slip back into routine with them; how easily they accept her into their arms) and Natsu is his usual brash, boisterous self. Kana drinks enough to drop a horse and Shadow Gear are as friendly and kind and she remembered.

Then there's Gray. Then there's Lluvia.

Lisanna had always liked Lluvia in Edoras. A little on the aloof side at times, and intimidatingly cool until one got to know her, but refreshingly comfortable in her skin and, admittedly, quite good-looking. And Gray had been, well…shy, lovestruck, overdressed to an alarming degree, and very nice with only a hint of vindictive treachery toward anyone he saw to be moving in on his sweetheart.

Back on Earthland, the two of them are…well…each other. It's simply the same situation in reverse.

Lisanna can work with that.

It had been hard, in Edoras, to get properly close to anyone for fear of revealing her secret. But now she could freely familiarize herself with each of her nakama, and, furthermore…intervene.

It's that train of thought that leads to Lisanna strolling casually through the guild one day in search of mischief. Gray leans casually against a table, listening in as Macao tells a joke. Not long after the laughter subsides, Lisanna sidles up and hooks a finger into his belt.

"Hi," she says, in her sweetest, sultriest voice, and glances up at him briefly from under her lashes as she slips away, sliding her finger along his waist until she's forced to break contact.

It isn't until she finds Lluvia, never far away, that she glances back. Gray hasn't reacted, standing exactly as he was before, and at first Lisanna wonders if he even noticed - that is, until he turns ever-so-slowly to stare at her over his shoulder with a look of such pure, baffled consternation that Lisanna has to bite her lip to stifle a giggle.

Lluvia is fuming silently at her side when Lisanna slips an arm around her waist and leans in close to her ear. "Guys love this stuff, okay?" she whispers. "Just watch him. Don't freak out." And with that, she nips at Lluvia's earlobe and slides her hand down to Lluvia's hip.

Lluvia stiffens. Out of the corner of her eye, Lisanna watches Gray's eyes widen a fraction. She squeezes Lluvia's hip, nuzzles under her ear, and presses the lightest, softest kiss to the side of her throat. Lluvia makes a high, thin, cut-off sound in the back of her throat, and Gray works his mouth as though he knows he ought to be saying something but damned if he knows what.

Lisanna winks at him and kisses Lluvia's neck a little more insistently. Gray's mouth drops open.

"L-Lisanna?" comes Lluvia's tremulous whisper.

"Are you watching?" she whispers back, and Lluvia doesn't answer, but that's only because she is watching. Lisanna slides her tongue behind Lluvia's ear to a stifled gasp and chances another look across the room.

Gray's eyes are rapidly darkening - he isn't looking at Lisanna; he's looking into Lluvia's eyes. Lisanna can bet he's never done that before. He's never had a reason to. Oh, but now that he has one, he can't seem to look away, and Lisanna is just wishing that she could properly see Lluvia's face from this angle.

Ah. But now Gray is coming over. Slowly. It takes him too long to reach them - Lisanna steps back, removing herself carefully from the trance that seems to have come between her victims, and when Gray reaches Lluvia he gently grasps her forearm without breaking eye contact.

"Hi," he says, distracted.

"H-hi," says Lluvia. She looks like she's on fire in several senses of the word.

Gray swallows. "Uh, hey. Lluvia? Do you wanna go out sometime?"

Lluvia stares into Gray's eyes with her mouth slightly open for at least five seconds before Lisanna nudges her calf gently with one foot. "Yes!" she finally blurts. "Yes, Lluvia would love to!"

"Good," says Gray, smiling just slightly, as though he's suddenly discovered something he didn't realize he was looking for, which, well…Lisanna can't think of a more accurate analysis.

Lisanna also can't leave well enough alone.

She reaches up to touch them both, the backs of their necks, and they startle a bit and turn to look at her with faintly glazed expressions. Lisanna smiles. "You two let me know if you ever want some company, okay?" she tells them, and winks, and turns to find herself more mischief to get into.

After all, now that she's back home, Lisanna is eager to get close to her nakama again.
