Employers are very interested in whether today's young people are willing to commute or even move because of work. The purpose of this research was to answer these questions. The research group

Following methodological and conceptual work, the scholars engaged in this project have begun to reflect the consequences of the "global turn" on key notions of social order. The new ZEI Discussion Paper brings together several scholarly papers on key notions of social order under the conditions of globality, written by academics of Bonn University: space (Ruth Knoblich/Robert Meyer), norm (Andreas Marchetti), world government (Christian Schwermann) and knowledge (Maximilian Mayer). The ZEI Discussion Paper is edited by Ludger Kuhnhardt and Tilman Mayer.

Following the lead of Richard L. Schultz (The Search for Quotation: Verbal Parallels in the Prophets, 1999), it furnishes evidence that the authors of these petitions and remonstrances, which normally had to be submitted to the throne in writing before they could be orally presented to kings or emperors, employed quotations not only to embellish their statements or to give authority to them but also utilized them as argumentative figures of thought. The traditional view implies that from the very beginning Chinese writers have both a strong awareness that texts can be created by a single person and a clear commitment to the concept of individual authorship. The inscription on the "Tiānwang guǐ", i.e. the "guǐ-Tureen of Tiānwang", belongs to the earliest Western Zhōu bronze epigraphs. It can be dated to the reign of King Wǔ (Wǔ wang, r. 1049/45-1043 B.C.E.) and have been produced shortly after the Muyě in 1045 B.C.E., when the Zhōu conquered the preceding Shāng dynasty. The inscription commemorates the accomplishments of one of its authors after King Wǔ's conquest of the Shāng. The inscription poses a philological problem that is particularly relevant to our interpretation and understanding of the text. Keywords: authorship; earliest Western Zhōu bronze epigraphs; early China; guǐ-Tureen of Tiānwang; reign of King Wǔ; Shāng dynasty; Tiānwang guǐ
