1. Просто о Present Simple

Особенность 1: правописание

1. Глагол заканчивается на s, z, x, sh, ch, o + es:

miss + es = misses go + es = goes

2. Глагол заканчивается на согласную + y, убираем y и добавляем ies:

rely --> relies worry --> worries

3. Глагол заканчивается на гласную + y, добавляем s:

play --> plays

4. Глагол have --> has

She has many books.

Особенность 2: произношение

/s/ /iz/ /z/

/f/, /k/, /p/, /t/ /s/, /ʃ/, /dʒ/, /z/ любой другой звук

He is at work. He is working now.

2. Говорим о Present Continuous

Правописание

1. Глагол заканчивается на e --> убираем e, добавляем ing:

make + ing = making (BUT! see --> seeing )

2. Короткий глагол с одной гласной --> удваиваем последний

согласный:
swim --> swimming run --> running

3. Глагол заканчивается на w, x, y --> согласная не удваивается:

carry --> carrying

4. Глагол заканчивается на ie --> ie меняется на y:

die --> dying
