Priya Vadi
I am currently a PhD candidate in Social and Cultural Geography at Royal Holloway University of London.
My broad research interests focus on identities, culture, and consumption.
My PhD research explores the public performances of diasporic Iranian identities in London and Vancouver through food in terms of spaces of production, consumption, and representation. In particular, I examine the role of Iranian restaurants and grocery stores in how they are a representation of diasporic Iranian culture.
Supervisors: Dr. Philip Crang
