This week's theme is Lyrics<\/b>. And, since I made such a great<\/i> job of explaining this last time, I'll try and make it clear this time.

For icon subject themes, you can use anything<\/b>, as long as it's either romantic, or funny, basically. But I mean, it really has to be shown in the icon. So, an icon of people kissing, that would be acceptable. In fact, an icon of any couple is OK. However, just one person, even if they're part of a really good couple, because the icon would convey no romance whatever. Yeah?

Similarly, an icon of someone doing something funny is OK. But an icon of a person smiling, even if they're funny, like Seth Cohen from the O.C, that's NOT OK, because he's not doing anything funny! Yeah?

On the other hand, if you want to still use romantic comedy images, any image from a romantic comedy film is acceptable. If that makes the slightest sense. If you're still confused, tell me, because this week, I'm gonna get strict with the entries. If something isn't romantic enough, or funny enough, then it will not be accepted!

Ok, the lyrics I chose are Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen <\/b>, because it's so damn long, it'll be easy to pick some lyrics to use.

But the way I see it is, there's romance in it, and there's comedy in it, so who's to say what's what? Who's to define<\/i> what we can and can't have here? No, wait, that's from something else. Anyway. Challenge this week is two things combined, because two people gave me different suggestions and I like them both.

The two themes this week are rivalry<\/b> and pink<\/b>. I was stuck for an idea, and so asked <\/a>springhazsprung<\/b><\/a><\/span> (over the wonder that is MSN) for help, and she suggested rivalry, which I thought was good, cause there is a lot of rivalry in Mean Girls. And it's also fun to make icons on rivalry. But then <\/a>haliaka<\/b><\/a><\/span> (also over MSN) suggested pink, which also fitted perfectly, and I couldn't decide.

SO. You can make two icons<\/b>. They can be of totally unrelated to Mean Girls things. They can either be-

a) one icon to do with rivalry and one to do with pink
OR
b) both featuring pink rivalry.

You CANNOT do two icons about rivalry, and two icons about pinkness. If anyone does that, cats will eat your face, OK? Your two icons are in for Friday 17th June<\/b>, and not Monday like silly Harriet said.

You can make up to six<\/b> icons. Yes, six! How wonderful! And (get this) they can be of anything you want!....

....well, almost. There are three catergories, Most Romantic, Most Comedic, and Best RomCom<\/b>. You can make two icons for each of these catergories. So let me explain in further detail.

Think of a really romantic thing. I don't know, Ryan and Marissa from the O.C. (Ugh. Personally I am a Seth\/Anna shipper, but anyway...) You can make an icon of them. Or two! Up to you. Then you make an icon of something really funny (I like funny icons. Indulge me), and then obviously a romantic comedy icon. All completely of your choice. The romantic and comedy icons can be of something totally unrelated to this community, just make sure they're romantic and funny.

I suck at explaining, but for those of you who get it, you have almost two weeks<\/b> (cause six icons can take a while to make, yo?) to submit your icons. Be sure (if it isn't painstakingly obvious, which I hope they will be) to mention what catergory you want your icons to be submitted under, cause me and Harriet laugh at lots of random stuff, and if you spend hours making a beatiful romantic icon and me and Harriet laugh, well, you'll be annoyed. Entries are to be in by Friday 20th May<\/b>, although please note that on that day me and Harriet officially start our study leave for exams, so we may late in posting due to wild partying<\/s> frantic revision whilst crying down the phone to your friends, insisting you know nothing while they assure you that they haven't revised either, but you KNOW they really have. Beh.
