First A HUGE apology to all of you guys. I know we are the worst mod's in the history of forever. Me and waka_laka were both dragged off for a week to oversee 40 young girls run riot through the new forest, and then the arduous tasks of unwanted overtime at work, and personal statements has really taken its toll on us. Ok, so firstly, the winners of last week. I apologise for them being so late, I ran out of Internet time, basically.

This week's theme is Lyrics. And, since I made such a great job of explaining this last time, I'll try and make it clear this time.

For icon subject themes, you can use anything, as long as it's either romantic, or funny, basically. But I mean, it really has to be shown in the icon. So, an icon of people kissing, that would be acceptable. In fact, an icon of any couple is OK. However, just one person, even if they're part of a really good couple, because the icon would convey no romance whatever. Yeah?

Similarly, an icon of someone doing something funny is OK. But an icon of a person smiling, even if they're funny, like Seth Cohen from the O.C, that's NOT OK, because he's not doing anything funny! Yeah?

On the other hand, if you want to still use romantic comedy images, any image from a romantic comedy film is acceptable. If that makes the slightest sense. If you're still confused, tell me, because this week, I'm gonna get strict with the entries. If something isn't romantic enough, or funny enough, then it will not be accepted!

Ok, the lyrics I chose are Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen , because it's so damn long, it'll be easy to pick some lyrics to use.

Well, as Harriet's on holiday in Australlia, I guess it's up to me to single handedly run the next challenge. And as I've completely run out of ideas for films, I think we should start doing themes.

The challenge is Silence. This can be interpreted in several ways; the icon can be textless, feature someone being quiet (although how you can do that...) or some word that would reflect this theme, like 'quiet'. However, the word DOES have to be related to the icon somewhat, so icons like this-



- however amusing, will NOT be accepted. Ok?

Yes. Let us take a quiet moment now, to reflect in how awful me and Harriet are. It's been a month, and we forgot to post the winners! I know Harriet will whinge and say how it was my turn to post the winners, but she could have just as easily done them. So we're very, very sorry, and we deserve many beatings.

If you cast your mind back two challenges ago, you'll remember that we had an additional challenge running alongside the very special one, that of the sleuth challenge. If you can't remember, here's a reminder!

Yeah, I know, Mean Girls isn't exactly the regular romcom we're supposed to be iconning in this community. But the way I see it is, there's romance in it, and there's comedy in it, so who's to say what's what? Who's to define what we can and can't have here? All people are one and the same, just don't ask me to sleep with you.

No, wait, that's from something else. Anyway. Challenge this week is two things combined, because two people gave me different suggestions and I like them both.

The two themes this week are rivalry and pink. I was stuck for an idea, and so asked springhazsprung (over the wonder that is MSN) for help, and she suggested rivalry, which I thought was good, cause there is a lot of rivalry in Mean Girls. And it's also fun to make icons on rivalry. But then haliaka (also over MSN) suggested pink, which also fitted perfectly, and I couldn't decide.

SO. You can make two icons. They can be of totally unrelated to Mean Girls things. They can either be-

a) one icon to do with rivalry and one to do with pink
OR
b) both featuring pink rivalry.

You CANNOT do two icons about rivalry, and two icons about pinkness. If anyone does that, cats will eat your face, OK? Your two icons are in for Friday 17th June, and not Monday like silly Harriet said.
