My first pdf upload is my thesis manuscript (link at the end of this post). It is imperfect, but it is a good introduction to my work on dendrites. This manuscript is the first published work introducing the notion of scatter sensitivity, that is the dual of the cluster sensitivity first described by Bartlett Mel. Both types of sensitivities relate to the propensity of a neuron to fire: a scatter sensitive neuron fires more when synaptic activity is spread over its dendrites whereas a cluster sensitive neuron fires more when synaptic activity is concentrated on a branch of its dendrites. A neuron -either scatter or cluster sensitive- is capable of computing linearly inseparable problem, e.g. the feature binding problem.

I am going soon to self archive all my work (abstract/proceedings/article) on this website. And I will try to write a post on how a new upload relates or not with the others.
