Enables the FSE Site Editor only for selected administrator users.
Are you a web agency, a freelancer or a web developer, who uses block themes with the site editor and necessarily needs to give the client an administrator user, but would like to avoid a mess on his part?
With this plugin, you have the option of enabling the FSE Site Editor only with your administrator user or with as many administrator users as you wish (like a super user).

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/sf-restrict-fse-site-editor directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‚Plugins‘ screen in WordPress
  3. Click on Settings > SF Restrict FSE Site Editor submenu admin page
  4. Selects the administrator users who will be able to use the FSE Site Editor

Yes, this plugin is compatible with block themes (FSE) which enable the site editor

Can another administrator user modify selected users?

Yes, all selected administrator users have the same level of privileges on the plugin, as if they all collaborated with each other, so any administrator user can add or remove another administrator user

Who has access to the site editor?

In WordPress by default, only administrator users have access to the site editor, this plugin allows you to disable access to the site editor for other administrator users, e.g. who are not part of the theme or website development team
