Chapter 6 of A Little Off the Top. I think there will only one more chapter after this; I can't be 100% sure because I haven't written it yet. :) But that's what I think it will be. And if things go the way I think they will, there may be an epilogue or a spinoff story.

I just realized that I posted chapter 5 to WRFA and the Wolverine/Rogue community, but forgot to post it here! Here it is, chapter 5, immediately followed by chapter 6 in the next post. If there's anybody out there reading this, let me know and leave some comment love!

Chapter 3; this is how I imagine Rogue to be with her friends and the fun they would have.

Well, here it is, the first chapter of my first fanfiction. Never in my life did I think I would be a writer of fanfics. Quite honestly, up until just over a year ago, I didn't even know such a thing existed. There I was, a grown woman who had this secret crush on the whole Wolverine/Rogue thing since I saw X1 all those years ago, and I thought I was the only one. After X2 and X3, I was seriously disappointed that nothing further ever happened between those two, and then it looked like the case was going to be the same for DOFP. One day I was googling for any hints as to whether we would see some Rogan interaction in DOFP, when lo and behold, I stumbled across the Wolverine and Rogue Fanficion Archive. (Cue angels singing)
I had no idea that there were other people who shipped these two; heck I had never even heard of the term shipper or OTP, that's how new I was to the whole fandom thing. How awesome to find that not only did other people ship Wolverine and Rogue, but that there was a wealth of stories they had written, too! Once I read my first fic, I was hooked.
I've been reading for over a year now, and I haven't even made a dent in the number of stories out there--and that's awesome! It wasn't long before some ideas for stories started percolating in my head, too. But, I've never been a writer, so the idea seemed intimidating. I can be a perfectionist at times, so the idea of putting something out there that might be crap was not appealing to me. If I can't do it right, I don't want to do it at all, dammit! But you know, for some reason I just couldn't stop thinking about it. And I figured, what the hell. The only way to get any good at something is to actually do it, and practice it often.
I decided to start off with something small and manageable, nothing too earthshattering, but hopefully entertaining nonetheless. Before we delve into chapter one, I just want to take a moment to shout out a big thank you to cschoolgirl for the beta--I will forever be grateful for your encouragement and kindness to this newbie. I'm so glad that you're one of the ones keeping the Wolverine/Rogue community alive.
So here you have it; I present to you...

For cschoolgirl, a set of screenshots to show how I made the manip of Logan and Marie in the Outback. I'm not sure how the steps would translate to PS Elements, but as with anything in Photoshop, there are a million ways to do the same thing, so hopefully there's a workaround if you don't have the same tools. I'm not sure what your skill level is, so please ignore me if I explain something that you already understand! Also please excuse any spelling errors; it's 2:30 a.m.! :)
On a side note, somehow I forgot to save the layered PSD file of the original manip I made, so I did another quick and dirty one for illustrative purposes. It's not as clean as the original, but it will give you the gist.
