The Regina Open Door Society is located in the City of Regina on Treaty 4 land, which is recognized as the traditional territory of the nêhiyawak/Cree, Nahkawē/Saulteaux, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
The Welcoming Community for Newcomers program is a free program that helps newcomer individuals or families become familiar with their community and establish supportive social networks. The program aims to help newcomers become thriving members of their community, meet new people in Regina feel welcome and at home in Regina.
Eligibility: WCN programs are open to Permanent Residents, Refugees and CUAET claimants.
