I'M A Mother – Erra Fazira

ERRA melalui detik-detik mencemaskan sebelum berjaya bergelar seorang ibu.

PADA tarikh 30 Mac 2009, pukul 11.40 pagi bertempat di Hospital Pakar Perubatan Damansara, lahir seorang bayi perempuan seberat 4.04 kilogram. Banyak hati yang berbunga bahagia untuk menatap bayi dengan ketinggian 51.5 sentimeter itu.

Alasannya cukup relevan. Ini kerana bayi istimewa itu merupakan puteri sulung kepada primadona filem Melayu, Erra Fazira Wan Chik dan suami tercinta, Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin.

Sememangnya ramai yang menunggu sekian lama bilakah primadona jelita itu bergelar ibu buat pertama kalinya.

Apatah lagi di kalangan media. Apabila khabar bahawa Erra,35, telah melahirkan zuriat pertamanya yang kemudian diberikan nama yang cukup indah – Engku Aleesya, lima hari lewat daripada tarikh yang dijangka doktor, para wartawan mula berkumpul di hospital berkenaan.

Gerombolan wartawan yang tiba di sana pada pukul 1 petang seolah tidak sabar menatap wajah Engku Aleesya, namun Emran yang ditemui bagaimanapun memohon dengan baik agar dirinya ditemu bual sekitar pukul 3 petang kerana mahu menguruskan hal dua permata hatinya itu.

Selepas ditemu bual, Emran tidak menolak memberi keizinan kepada beberapa teman wartawan untuk menziarahi Erra dan Aleesya.

Namun, Erra dan Emran bagaimanapun tidak mengizinkan wajah puteri mereka dirakamkan. “Kami sudah berjanji dengan keluarga. Jadi saya perlu berpegang kepada janji. Insya-Allah, wajah Aleesya akan dapat disaksikan pada majlis cukur jambul nanti,” luah Erra meminta agar semua pihak memahami dan memberi sedikit privasi kepada anggota keluarga barunya itu.


SELEPAS menempuh pelbagai dugaan, kelahiran Engku Aleesha bakal melindungi dan memastikan kerukunan rumah tangga Erra dan Emran berkekalan selagi hayat dikandung badan.

Tambah pasangan ini, mereka mahu bersifat adil kepada semua media, dan janji untuk ‘menayangkan’ anak mereka pada majlis cukur jambul selepas 44 hari nanti akan tetap dikotakan.

Meminta maaf kepada semua pihak, Erra sendiri sebenarnya sudah tidak sabar untuk menunjukkan gambar anaknya kepada orang ramai terutama peminatnya.

Erra yang kemudian berkongsi kegembiraannya menyambut kedatangan media dengan nada ghairah menjerit kecil berkata, “I’m a mother (saya seorang ibu)”. Cerianya tidak ditahan-tahan.

Malah dalam setiap bicaranya, mata Erra bercahaya. Lambang kebahagiaan tidak terperi.

“Ini satu pengalaman yang seronok dan baik. Lepas bersalin, saya ada rasa pening dan hendak muntah. Tapi itu semua berbaloi. Disebabkan sudah melebihi lima hari, saya tidak mahu mengambil risiko.

“Saya takut bayi terlalu besar dan juga takut tali pusat akan melilit kepalanya. Macam-macam saya fikir, maka saya dinasihatkan melalui prosedur induce (ubat untuk mempercepatkan pembukaan rahim),” ujar Erra.

Memilih nama Engku Aleesya, Erra menyukai maksud Aleesya dan bunyi sebutannya amat lembut. “Saya suka maksud Aleesya. Maksudnya ialah yang dilindungi. Semua ahli keluarga bersetuju dengan nama ini. Kami ada tiga nama lain tetapi nama yang lain pula agak keras nadanya. Kami sukakan nama yang ringkas sahaja,” tambah Erra.

Emran yang terlebih dahulu ditemu bual turut berkongsi pengalaman menjadi bapa dengan media. Dia memberitahu, sepanjang proses bersalin, dia berada di sisi Erra dan sempat merakamkan detik-detik paling manis dalam hidupnya dengan kamera video.

“Sebenarnya hari Sabtu lagi Erra sudah sakit. Bila jumpa doktor dan menjalani ujian skrin, doktor mengatakan Erra belum bersedia untuk melahirkan anak lagi. Kemudian, semalam (29 Mac) Erra semakin sakit dan masuk hospital pada pukul 11 malam. Pada pukul 3 pagi, Erra dinasihatkan untuk mengambil suntikan epidural dan dua jam kemudian Erra dimasukkan ke dalam wad.

“Pintu rahim Erra semakin membesar pada pukul 7.30 pagi dan pada pukul 10 pagi, Erra sudah bersedia untuk bersalin. Tidak sampai 20 minit doktor berada dalam bilik bersalin, Erra selamat melahirkan Aleesya pada pukul 11.40 pagi,” jelas Emran mengenai anaknya yang dilahirkan secara normal itu.

Tidak mengalami sebarang komplikasi, Erra memberitahu dirinya berasa sebak saat anaknya diletakkan atas badannya. Malah pada mulanya dia tidak tahu bagaimana untuk mendukung anaknya yang masih diselaputi bendalir.

Suaminya pula berasa cemas ketika berada di bilik bersalin kerana tidak pernah melihat Erra dalam keadaan yang begitu sakit. “Memang saya berasa cemas dan hiba tetapi saya masih mahu melihat saat anak saya dilahirkan. Rasanya seperti mimpi lagi.

“Ini satu keajaiban yang sangat sukar untuk dijelaskan dalam perkataan. Semasa menyaksikan Erra bersalin juga saya berasa insaf dan semakin menyayangi Erra,” kata Emran yang akan bercuti selama seminggu untuk menemani Erra dan Aleesya.

Menyifatkan mulut anaknya seperti mulut Erra yang muncung dan kulitnya berwarna putih dengan sedikit merah jambu, Emran masih belum boleh melihat wajah anaknya itu iras wajahnya atau Erra. Wartawan yang berpeluang melihat anaknya, akui bayi itu memiliki mulut seperti Erra dan memiliki sepasang mata yang bundar.


APABILA primadona melahirkan anak sulung. Pihak media terpaksa bersabar selama 44 hari sebelum dapat merakamkan foto Engku Aleesya.

Emran yang sudah bersedia dari segi fizikal dan mental sebenarnya mahu tiga atau empat orang anak. Maka memandangkan usia Erra, Emran mahu Erra lahirkan anak lagi dalam masa terdekat. “Kalau boleh jangan rehat lama sangat. Usia Erra pun bukan muda lagi,” terang Emran.

Bakal mengamalkan pantang tradisional di rumah dengan ditemani ibu dan ibu mertua serta nenek Erra, Rahimah Sakul, Erra dan Emran mempunyai pendirian sama untuk tidak mendedahkan anak mereka kepada dunia seni. Jika boleh, pasangan itu mahu anak mereka terlibat dalam bidang lain.

“Ayah dia minat golf. Kalau boleh dia nak anaknya jadi pemain golf profesional. Kami sebenarnya tidak galakkan dia menjadi artis. Namun, jika itu minat dia, kami tidak halang,” kata Erra.

Sambung Emran, “Rasanya ibu dia boleh nasihatkan dia baik buruk dunia seni. Kami tahu tidak senang untuk menjadi artis. Saya hanya mahu membawa dia bermain golf.”

Erra mahukan anaknya memanggil dirinya, mom dan Emran pula mahu dirinya dipanggil ayah. Bersifat terbuka dalam cara mendidik anak, Emran mahu menghormati anaknya. “Walaupun dia merupakan anak saya, saya akan hormati dia. Anak saya akan mempunyai pendirian dan hak sendiri sebagai seorang manusia.”

Terlalu awal untuk bercerita mengenai hal publisiti anaknya, jika berkebolehan, Emran mahu anaknya membesar seperti orang biasa. Erra juga belum lagi bersedia untuk membawa anaknya ke lokasi penggambaran atau tempat kerja.

“Bulan Jun nanti saya akan mula bekerja dengan produksi Mertua VS Menantu. Selepas itu juga saya akan mula merakamkan album baru. Maka, masa itu anak saya masih kecil. Jadi tidak sesuai untuk bawa dia ke lokasi,” beritahu Erra mengenai anaknya yang akan dijaga ibu serta ibu mentuanya.

KUALA LUMPUR – Pelakon dan penyanyi terkenal, Erra Fazira selamat melahirkan bayi perempuan seberat 4.04 kilogram di Hospital Pakar Perubatan Damansara, semalam.

Lewat lima hari daripada jangkaan, Erra atau nama penuhnya, Erra Fazira Wan Chik, 35, ditemani suaminya, Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin saat dia melahirkan anaknya pada pukul 11.40 pagi.

Diberi nama Engku Aleesya Engku Emran yang bermaksud dilindungi, kelahiran bayi comel itu turut disambut oleh ibu Erra, Azizah Zaik dan ibu mentuanya, Toh Puan Hajah Salmah Abu Bakar.

ABPBH 2008: Nikmat Dihargai

Satu pencapaian besar walaupun sekadar finalis ABPBH2008

SERING populariti dikaitkan dengan paparan kisah hangat dan kontroversi yang pantas melonjakkan nama seseorang insan seni.

Seakan membawa konotasi negatif, populariti juga acap kali dilihat sebagai ujian yang menduga sejauh mana anak seni itu mampu menangani seterusnya mempertahan kekuatan dan keperkasaan mereka untuk mara ke puncak.

Bagaimanapun, barisan nama yang sedang mekar dan mengharum dalam industri hiburan tempatan ini meniti laluan sebaliknya.

Mereka tidak bersandar kepada populariti kosong yang akhirnya memusnahkan kepercayaan khalayak kepada kemampuan sebenar.

Sebaliknya setiap mereka merasai semua nikmat itu atas usaha dan dedikasi jitu apabila mengambil keputusan untuk melangkah dalam onak serta duri dunia hiburan.


NUBHAN, Aizat, Liyana dan Juliana bakat muda di pentas seni tanah air.

Bagi finalis Artis Baru Wanita Popular, Scha Al Yahya melihat pencalonannya dalam ABPBH 2008 sebagai penghargaan dan perakuan peminat terhadap usaha serta kerja kerasnya selama ini .

Pencalonan itu juga kata Scha, memberi makna yang cukup besar kerana selain memberi bonus untuk melonjakkan karier seninya malah turut melambangkan keakraban kolaborasinya dengan pihak media.

“Ia memberi kepuasan kepada Scha kerana bukan mudah untuk membolosi Top 5 daripada senarai panjang nama yang dicalonkan untuk kategori ini. Ia juga pencapaian terbesar sekali gus membuat Scha terharu kerana peminat menghargai dan menerima kehadiran Scha dalam bidang ini,” katanya.

Pencalonan itu juga dianggapnya sebagai kuasa ‘tendangan penalti’ kerana namanya hanya menyerlah sekitar hujung tahun lalu apabila drama bersiri, Awan Dania menerima pujian ramai.


KEMUNCULAN Farid Kamil dan Lisa Surihani jadi perhatian.

“Pencapaian ini adalah sesuatu yang di luar dugaan kerana pada penilaian Scha, masih terlalu awal untuk Scha berada dalam senarai besar itu. Scha sangat berterima kasih kepada peminat yang melihat bakat yang ada dalam diri ini,” katanya terharu kerana filem seperti Antoo Fighter dan Histeria membantu menyerlahkan lagi namanya kepada pencinta seni.

Suatu yang cukup memberi makna kepada pelakon dan pengacara berusia 26 tahun ini, pencalonan itu juga memberinya ruang untuk berdiri di atas kaki sendiri tanpa perlu bersandar kepada populariti aktor, Fahrin Ahmad yang dikaitkan dengan dirinya.

“Scha mahu menjadi diri Scha secara individu dan alhamdulillah, semua itu tercapai menerusi pencalonan ini,” katanya.

Andai dulu, segala kemanisan sebagai anak seni popular hanya menjadi igauannya tetapi kini, jalan ke puncak sedang terbentang untuk si kecil molek, Stacy atau nama sebenarnya, Stracy Angie Anam.

Tidak ramai yang tahu sebelum segala kemanisan itu dikecapi, Stacy terlebih dulu menahan pelbagai kepahitan dan kepedihan untuk menggenggam cita-citanya.

“Saya pernah menyertai pelbagai pertandingan sampai ada yang datang bertanya, tidak malukah mahu turut serta lagi? Ada yang pernah berkata, carilah kerja lain kerana mungkin rezeki saya bukan sebagai anak seni.

“Tetapi saya cekalkan hati dan teruskan berusaha kerana kejayaan tidak akan datang bergolek di depan mata. Syukur kerana laluan untuk ke arah itu sudah mula terbuka sejak menjuarai Akademi Fantasia 7,” kata Stacy.

Mendaki tangga kejayaan sebenarnya turut membuatkan penyanyi berusia 18 tahun ini diburu kebimbangan. Stacy gusar jika melakukan kesilapan yang akhirnya memusnahkan segala kerja kerasnya selama ini.

Disebabkan itu, kata Stacy, dia sentiasa berdoa semoga Tuhan memberinya kekuatan untuk menempuh segala dugaan dan tidak lupa mereka yang berada di keliling yang membantu menjulang kariernya.

“Saya sentiasa berhati-hati dalam setiap tingkah laku, malah penghargaan demi penghargaan membuatkan saya mahu lebih berusaha untuk terus memberikan yang terbaik kepada semua.

“Pencalonan dalam ABPBH 2008 ini memberi semangat kepada saya malah mencabar diri untuk melakukan yang lebih baik. Semua ini bagaikan mimpi buat saya,” katanya.

Tidak kejar populariti

NAMA Juliana Evans sudah lama berlegar di kalangan peminat seni hiburan, namun gadis ini lebih senang memilih jalan hidup bersederhana.

Limpahan serta kilauan cahaya populariti tidak pernah melekakannya sebaliknya Juliana senang memilih untuk menjalani kehidupan seperti gadis lain sebayanya.

“Saya cukup bimbang apabila terlalu pantas naik, jatuhnya juga akan cepat. Jadi biar perjalanan karier saya perlahan. Lagipun saya tidak mahu terlalu dibuai populariti kerana masih ada tanggungjawab lain iaitu sebagai pelajar,” katanya.

Gadis berdarah campuran Melayu-Inggeris berusia 19 tahun ini mula mengacara sejak berusia 12 tahun. Namun katanya, di kalangan peminat namanya lebih menyerlah sebagai pelakon.

Disebabkan itu katanya, dia tidak menduga apabila namanya membolosi senarai Top 5 kategori Pengacara TV Wanita Popular.

“Sangka saya akan tersenarai dalam kategori Artis Baru Wanita Popular tetapi lain pula yang berlaku. Pencalonan ini membuatkan saya cukup berbangga tambahan pula kategori itu membariskan ramai nama besar dan berpengalaman.

“Saya begitu terharu kerana akhirnya segala usaha yang ditumpahkan membuahkan hasil. Berbaloi biarpun terpaksa merintis jalan panjang untuk sampai ke tahap ini,” katanya.

Tiada jalan pintas tanpa pengorbanan. Itu yang dirasai anggota baru The Fabulous Cats, Wangi Julianda yang terpaksa menahan kerinduan terhadap keluarga di Bandung demi memburu cita-citanya.

Suara nakal yang mempertikai kemasukannya dalam kumpulan itu tidak diendahkan. Sebaliknya Wangi mahu terbang tinggi bersama kumpulan yang cukup dikenali dengan lagu Bawaku Terbang.

Detik manis Liyana Jasmay dan Kenchana Dewi

BATU Pahat Mall barangkali meninggalkan kenangan paling manis buat dua nama yang begitu sinonim dengan dunia lakonan.

Liyana Jasmay dan Kenchana Dewi terharu apabila menerima kejutan meraikan ulang tahun kelahiran bersama peminat di sekitar Johor.

Kenchana yang menyambut ulang tahun minggu lalu, hampir menitiskan air mata kerana terharu dengan kejutan yang dilakukan.

“Sangka saya kejutan itu untuk orang lain. Jadi saya pun beriya-iya menyanyikan lagu Selamat Hari Jadi tanpa disedari ia adalah kejutan untuk saya juga,” katanya.

Biarpun diduga dengan sedikit kontroversi, namun Kenchana tenang menghadapinya. Baginya, semua itu asam garam kehidupan yang tidak perlu terlalu dipedulikan kerana ia hanya menjejaskan mutu kerjanya.

Liyana pula baru meraikan hari ulang tahunnya yang ke-21 pada 28 Mac lalu, sehari sebelum siri promosi jelajah ABPBH 2008 di Batu Pahat Mall berlangsung.

Sekadar meraikannya bersama keluarga, sambutan hari kebebasan itu juga membawa makna besar kepada gadis kecil molek ini.

Single pertamanya, Ku Tak Perlu Cinta sudah mula berkumandang di corong radio membuatkan dia teruja meniti pengalaman baru sebagai penyanyi.

“Ia sesuatu yang berbeza kerana Nana dapat bertemu satu kelompok pencinta seni yang baru. Pengalaman ini cukup menyeronokkan,” katanya yang tidak kekok untuk beraksi di pentas biarpun sebelum ini namanya cukup menyerlah dalam bidang lakonan.

Menyertai siri promosi jelajah ABPBH 2008 juga membuka ruang untuk Liyana mendekati ramai pemuzik berbakat serta berkongsi pandangan mengenai industri muzik.

“Ia permulaan untuk saya berkenal-kenalan dan berharap laluan sebagai penyanyi pada masa akan datang akan lebih mudah.

“Disebabkan masih baru dalam bidang ini, saya mengharapkan tunjuk ajar daripada mereka yang berpengalaman serta membimbing untuk saya turut mencipta kejayaan nanti,” katanya.

Pelihara darjat dan kesopanan songket cabaran buat Hazwani

MENGHASILKAN busana moden hasil gabungan fabrik moden dan tenun memberikan cabaran besar kepada pereka Hazwani Osman apabila perlu memastikan fabrik yang melambangkan kedaulatan kesultanan Melayu itu terus terpelihara darjat dan kesopanannya.

Menjejaki sejarah fabrik berkenaan, Hazwani berkata, ia jelas menunjukkan darjat fabrik itu menyebabkan beliau perlu menghasilkan pakaian yang menyerlahkan lagi kedudukan fabrik itu, bukan menjatuhkan atau melindungi ia hingga kalah dek fabrik moden lain seperti renda dan sutera.

“Saya bakal mencetuskan kejutan, kerana lari daripada ‘trademark’ sebelum ini yang kerap tampil bersama gaun malam. Saya boleh menyifatkan kali ini ia akan lebih mengejutkan, atau mungkin juga di luar jangkaan.

“Saya akan menonjolkan rekaan yang mampu menyerlahkan ciri kewanitaan seperti potongan feminine, lebih kepada beralun, dengan penggunaan sutera sifon dan sedikit perincian seperti renda. Banyak bermain dengan rona pastel seperti merah jambu, biru dan kelabu, tetapi saya akan selitkan juga wana terang seperti merah hati dan merah terang untuk memberi ‘stage effect’,” katanya yang banyak menggunakan songket pada bahagian atas pakaian.

Hazwani bersama sembilan pereka lain terbabit dalam Fiesta Fesyen Kuala Lumpur (FFKL) anjuran Berita Harian yang akan berlangsung selama dua hari bermula 6 April depan di pusat beli-belah One Utama, Bandar Utama dan Hotel One World, Petaling Jaya.


HAZWANI (dua dari kanan) dan empat pereka FFKL lain dibantu Jasleen Kaur daripada Euromoda, memilih kain bersesuaian.

Selain Hazwani, sembilan pereka fesyen yang terbabit dalam FFKL ialah Nik Erwan Nik Roseli, Chandra Shegar, Hatta Dolmat, Rizman Ruzaini, Hazwani Othman, Calvin Thoo, Amir Luqman, Aidawati Saidin, Nazreen Idris, Nik Erwan Roseli dan Zery Zamry.

Antara penenun yang terbabit dalam FFKL ialah Manang Songket, Bibah Songket, Wan Hasnah Songket, Zaidah Songket, Atikah Songket TTDI dan Nur Atikah Songket. Acara itu mendapat tajaan daripada Secret untuk solekan dan dandanan artis serta peragawati, Euro Moda menaja fabrik, manakala R&R Craft, Fruitale dan Leesa Formula, penaja cenderamata.

Sambil memuji usaha Berita Harian itu, Hazwani berkata FFKL, terlalu amat besar ertinya kepada pereka dan penenun dalam industri fesyen tanah air. Malah menjadi tanggungjawab pereka membawa songket ke peringkat lebih tinggi menerusi rekaan yang lebih ‘terhormat’ sesuai dengan martabat fabrik itu, supaya orang luar yang menyaksikannya akan faham mengenai apa yang dipaparkan.

“Rekaan yang terlalu kasual, mudah, seksi atau yang boleh dipakai seharian seperti seluar pendek atau sendat, bagaikan ‘menjatuhkan’ martabat fabrik diraja itu. Saya lebih setuju sekiranya pakaian yang menggunakan fabrik songket diketengahkan untuk acara tertentu saja seperti rasmi, berprestij dan dihormati.

“Besar harapan saya ia mampu menjadi landasan kepada pelbagai pihak untuk terus memartabatkan fabrik tempatan. Pada masa sama saya berharap ia menjadi titik tolak kepada bangsa kita sendiri untuk melihat fabrik tempatan dihargai, malah menjadi pilihan untuk digayakan atas permaidani merah dan tidak lagi terlalu mengagung-agungkan buah tangan Eropah,” katanya.

Sungguhpun menghasilkan busana menggunakan songket bukan asing baginya, malah pernah beberapa kali terbabit dalam rekaan fesyen yang memerlukan penggunaan songket beberapa tahun lalu, beliau seakan tidak sabar melihat reaksi orang ramai terhadap acara ini, pada masa sama menyaksikan pereka muda dengan buah tangan masing-masing.

“Kerjasama antara pereka, penenun dan pihak media ini dijangka mampu memberikan kejutan yang mendatangkan kebaikan kepada banyak pihak,” katanya.

Program realiti TV terbaru terbitan Astro Ria dan Prima, Anak Wayang, bakal menyaksikan dua wajah terkenal dan popular mengemudikannya sebagai hos bersama.

Siapa tidak kenal Rusdi Ramli dan Nur Fazura kerana masing-masing telah membuktikan bakat lakonan yang cemerlang dalam drama dan filem tanah air. Rusdi cukup dikenali dalam filem Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam 2 dan Waris Jari Hantu manakala Fazura pula sinonim dengan filem Gol & Gincu serta Qaisy & Laila.

Namun untuk menjadi pengacara khususnya program realiti TV, ia sesuatu yang baru bagi Rusdi apabila ditawarkan peluang itu oleh Astro.

“Selepas menerima tawaran sebagai hos rancangan ini beberapa minggu lalu, saya sudah mula mempelajari selok-belok bidang pengacaraan dengan mendalam. Memang tidak dinafikan, saya agak gementar pada mulanya tetapi saya tetap menerimanya sebagai satu cabaran besar.

“Melihat pada konsep pertandingan ini, saya berpendapat ia satu program yang sangat unik dan akan digemari dalam dunia hiburan di Malaysia.

“Kalau diperhatikan negara kita mempunyai ramai bakat dalam bidang lakonan tetapi mereka tidak mempunyai peluang untuk menonjolkan diri. Jadi  Anak Wayang bakal menjadi satu platform yang baik untuk melahirkan bintang baru dalam dunia lakonan,” kata Rusdi, 39.

Berbeza pula dengan Fazura, anak kelahiran Pekan, Pahang itu pernah menunjukkan bakatnya dalam bidang  pengacaraan sebelum melangkah ke arena lakonan. Antaranya dia pernah menjadi VJ untuk program Teens World bagi siaran RTM2.

“Walaupun saya dan Rusdi tidak begitu rapat tapi kami sudah lama kenal. Menjadi pengacara program Anak Wayang adalah satu penghormatan yang besar daripada Astro buat diri saya. Memandangkan ia satu program baru, sata sendiri cukup excited untuk melihat bagaimana impaknya.

“Saya juga agak gementar tetapi yakin akan dapat keserasian dengan Rusdi di kaca TV nanti,” kata Fazura.

Fazura atau nama sebenarnya, Nur Fazura Sharfuddin, 26, melibatkan diri dalam dunia lakonan sejak 2004 dan pernah berlakon 8 buah filem cereka. Dalam bidang lakonan, Fazura pernah dicalonkan untuk kategori Pelakon Wanita Terbaik pada FFM19 dan 21.

Kini Fazura sedang menunggu kemunculan filem terbarunya, Pisau Cukur yang dilakonkan bersama Maya Karin dan Dato’ Rahim Razali.

PERTANDINGAN Bintang RTM terbukti berjaya melahirkan ramai artis berbakat dan popular sehingga kini. Antaranya Allahyarham Sudirman Arshad, Dahlan Zainuddin, Jamal Abdillah, Rohana Jalil, Juliza Adlizan, Raisuddin Hamzah, Ramlah Ram, Misha Omar, Azharina dan Noraniza Idris.

Program pencarian bakat nyanyian yang diadakan sejak 1959 itu ternyata mempunyai keistimewaan dan identiti tersendiri. Malah masih mengekal konsep asal mencari bintang mempunyai vokal yang baik. Ia bagi memastikan produk dikeluarkan penerbit program itu dapat bertahan dan bersaing dalam dunia seni tanah air.

Perkara itu diakui komposer merangkap panel pemilihan peserta Bintang RTM, Datuk Mokhzani Ismail yang menyifatkan penilaian terhadap mutu suara sangat dititikberatkan dalam uji bakat awal peserta.

“Kami memberi penekanan utama dari segi kualiti suara setiap peserta sejak peringkat awal pemilihan lagi. Soal rupa paras adalah perkara kedua buat kami. Apabila peserta bersaing memiliki suara yang baik kami percaya mereka mampu bertahan lebih lama dalam industri seni tanah air.

“Tidak dinafikan ada dalam kalangan peserta terikut dengan gaya penyanyi sedia ada seperti Datuk Siti Nurhaliza dan Anuar Zain. Kami sendiri tidak menyalahkan mereka mengenai soal ini memandangkan kedua-dua artis itu idola ramai. Penampilan penyanyi yang sedia ada sememangnya memberi pengaruh besar dan menjadi ikutan generasi masa kini.

“Dari segi pemilihan peserta juga kami masih mengekalkan konsep yang sama dengan keputusan ditentukan sepenuhnya juri profesional kecuali untuk SMS undian masuk semula dan Bintang Paling Popular,” kata Mokhzani ketika ditemui pada sidang akhbar dan memperkenalkan 30 peserta teratas program itu di Angkasapuri, baru-baru ini.

Turut hadir pada majlis itu Ketua Pengarah Penyiaran, Datuk Ibrahim Yahaya. Tiga puluh peserta yang baru selesai menjalani sesi orientasi membabitkan kelas vokal dan tarian pada 20 hingga 22 Mac lalu turut menjayakan persembahan pada majlis itu. Mereka akan bersaing merebut lapan tempat ke final.

Bagi Penerbitnya, Norfadzilah Hashim pihaknya masih mengekalkan sistem pemarkahan merangkumi vokal 80 peratus selain penampilan dan persembahan sebanyak 20 peratus manakala SMS dari peringkat suku akhir hingga separuh akhir selain kategori Bintang Paling Popular untuk pusingan akhir nanti.

“Semua 30 peserta akan bersaing pada peringkat suku akhir dan separuh akhir sebelum melayakkan diri ke pusingan final. Peserta juga bakal menghiburkan penonton dengan tema khas yang dipilih pada setiap episod bermula 5 April ini.

“Bagi memeriahkan saingan pertandingan beberapa program menarik sudah disusun untuk memperkenalkan peserta kepada penonton seperti Aura Bintang RTM yang disiarkan setiap Isnin, Selasa dan Rabu di TV2 jam 3 petang bermula 17 Mac lalu. Manakala Muzik Aktif menerusi Astro (saluran 180) setiap Selasa, Khamis dan Sabtu jam 8 malam,” katanya.

 

 

Katanya, seramai 1,436 peserta menyertai sesi uji bakat yang berlangsung sejak awal Januari lalu di seluruh negara. Pertandingan akhir dijadualkan disiarkan secara langsung menerusi TV1 dari Auditorium Angkasapuri RTM yang dijadualkan pada 21 Jun ini.

Peserta yang berjaya dipilih akan mengharungi peringkat suku akhir yang dibahagikan kepada enam episod. Lima peserta akan bersaing bagi setiap episod. Dua peserta yang memungut markah teratas daripada setiap lima peserta suku akhir layak bersaing di separuh akhir manakala tiga peserta yang tewas dalam setiap episod merayu SMS penonton.

Hanya seorang daripada mereka akan terpilih bertanding di SMS suku akhir. Dua peserta dari peringkat SMS suku akhir akan mengiringi 12 peserta yang layak secara automatik dari peringkat separuh akhir yang dibahagikan kepada dua episod. Tiga daripada tujuh peserta peringkat separuh akhir layak bertanding ke peringkat akhir.

Empat peserta yang tewas di pusingan separuh akhir masih berpeluang melayakkan diri di pusingan akhir dengan memohon simpati menerusi SMS penonton. Hanya dua peserta dipilih dalam peringkat ini untuk mengiringi enam peserta yang layak.

Nick Cannon Denies Engagement Ring Lawsuit

LOS ANGELES : Nick Cannon has vehemently denied reports that he is embroiled in a legal battle over the engagement ring he bought his wife, Mariah Carey.

Reports have suggested that the star was close to financial ruin and was facing a lawsuit from the jewellery store where he bought the diamond band in 2008.

According to reports, the jewellery store was suing Cannon for failing to pay for the US$500,000 ring in full.

However the rapper insists that the rumours are baseless and has hit back at reports by blogging on his official internet blog.

“It was this craziness about me being broke and being sued by my jeweller! Ridiculous! I just got like three new major multi-million dollar deals in the last two months. And I ain’t even finish yet… But now I’m broke, okay!”

“Where do these people get this stuff? First off, I wish my wife’s ring did only cost US$500,000, that would have been a deal!”

“Do your research and you will see how much I really paid for it. When my wife and I first got married people were lying and saying the ring was used or that I re-gifted it! So after we cleared that up, almost a year later they come with some more ring drama,” wrote Cannon.

The rumours have clearly upset the star, and he has said that he has no qualms about confronting anyone who continues to spread these baseless accusations on the net.

In a video posted on YouTube.com he said, “I take respect real seriously and when you cross what I feel like you’re offending my personal space, I wanna give you the full opportunity to say whatever you need to say to my face directly.”

This issue is an especially sensitive one to Cannon who has said he would do whatever it takes to make his wife happy and would never skimp when it comes to buying presents for her.

“I would spend every last dime that I have ever made on my wife, she deserves to be showered with extraordinary gifts and as long as I live I will spend all my money on her and never touch a dime of hers.”

LOS ANGELES: Aktres Angelina Jolie dilaporkan menyatakan keinginan untuk terus menambah ahli keluarganya apabila merancang untuk memiliki dua lagi anak menjadikan lapan orang semuanya.

“Kekasih pelakon Brad Pitt itu berharap untuk mengambil anak angkat keempat beliau dari negara luar akhir tahun ini sebelum merancang melahirkan sendiri seorang lagi anak,” kata seorang rakannya kepada Sunday Mirror.

Jolie melahirkan kembar Knox dan Vivienne di Perancis Julai tahun lalu hasil hubungan beliau dengan Pitt.

Pasangan itu juga mempunyai tiga anak angkat iaitu Maddox, Pac dan Zahara selain seorang lagi anak perempuan hasil hubungan mereka iaitu Shiloh. – Agensi
