Before I boarded my flight, this beautiful double rainbow appeared in the sky and I just knew that my trip to LA was going to be magical - LOL.

Sunshine Beer<\/b> - yes, you read it right, \"SUNSHINE\" which of course I had to get as part of the poker theme gift bags from <\/a>toto_too514<\/b><\/a><\/span> and I for the QAF cast. It's from a local brewery in Fort Collins, CO called New Belgium who also makes Fat Tire, one of their more popular beers. They were all bubble wrapped & zip-locked individually and then tightly packed in one checked luggage.

Elke's banner<\/b> - As a personal thank you to <\/a>reiselust161<\/b><\/a><\/span> for saving the Con, <\/a>toto_too514<\/b><\/a><\/span> and I had specially made a custom 4x2.5 banner of one of my favorite pics of the Cologne Con and presented it to Elke during the Fan Meet & Greet at the hotel bar, Thursday night. Most of the people there were mainly authors of fan fics but also readers\/fans (like me who can't write *g*). It was a pretty big group of about 30 ladies and arranged by <\/a>predec2<\/b><\/a><\/span> and Elke in advance (wonderful idea by the way and thank you. We all had fun that night). This is where I also met some new friends <\/a>q_dicted<\/b><\/a><\/span>, <\/a>wren_kt7oz<\/b><\/a><\/span>, <\/a>pinkrococo<\/b><\/a><\/span>, <\/a>jule2009<\/b><\/a><\/span>, <\/a>brian4ever<\/b><\/a><\/span>, and Jackie Mag (sorry but I don't know your LJ name, if any).

Elke of course was very surprised and appreciated the gesture. It was also a nice surprise to see the banner proudly displayed during the registration Saturday night. Below are the before and after pics.

Mrs. Field's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake<\/b> - This special treat and message was delivered to the cast by Elke's trusty volunteers (Svanja & Judith - thank you ladies for the favor) during their lunch as a thank you on behalf of the fandom for being there and to everyone for keeping the Con alive. I think they all enjoyed it since Robert, Scott & Michelle actually tweeted about it.

Hmmmm, I wonder if this is what made Michelle a bit frisky during her panel with Ryan & Robert and also Peter and Randy all giddy during the farewell *g*. I have to say that my friends and I had such a ball designing the cake that I dubbed the entire experience as \"our teenage moment\" LOL. A lot of time sure was spent to get this cookie cake looking good.

Randy walked in with his PA, Elke's daughter Ana and said hi to everyone and immediately sat down ready for dinner. He ordered the filet mignon instead of Salmon or the Penne Pasta.

While waiting for the food to be served, <\/a>toto_too514<\/b><\/a><\/span> and I gave him his gift since we didn't want him to think that we forgot about him. All the other cast members received theirs during the cocktail reception. He accepted them graciously and thanked us both. By then service has started and Randy looked like he is ready to eat. I know that they didn't really have time for lunch since everything got pushed back and the cast had to make up all the photo shoot everyone missed in the morning. After refusing the Penne that our server kept giving him twice, he finally got his filet and cleaned up his plate except for the veggies & potato (He did eat a bit of his dessert, at least the lemon part).

During dinner between bites of his food Randy answered questions from everybody. My questions specifically were:

1 - Will we see him at all at the Berkshires this year and he answered no.

2 - Has he seen any blockbuster movies lately and he said yes Star Trek's Into Darkness and that he liked it a lot.

3 - Does he have anything coming up as far as theatre and yes he does but nothing has been officially announced yet so he can't really share any info at this time. He will tweet it as soon as he gets the go ahead. I told him that we are all very excited to see him perform again and can't wait for what ever new play he has in the works.

4 - How was it filming SGP - A lot of fun but long hours. Very pleased with how the filming went and working with the casts & production crew. He did say the dogs were a challenged to work with though in terms of time (not very efficient) but they all got through it. Since he has a flight to catch right after dinner, he will miss the cast party Monday night as well as Bridgett Everett's show since we mentioned that a bunch of us are going to see her (He added that she puts on a great show and that we'll all have a good time and that he's sorry he couldn't be there for both events). They've pretty much been filming the entire time he's been here and expressed how much he's looking forward to getting out of LA and to be going back home soon. I also asked where they've been filming - he said Silverlake.

5 - What he thinks of traffic in LA - He said it wasn't bad since he's going against traffic going to work and leave early enough in the day and pretty late at night when he has to drive back that he actually miss the rush hour and doesn't have to deal much with traffic. I told him it was one of the things I hated about LA :).

6 - Has he had any time to enjoy LA - Not really since they've all been working long hours filming SGP and have a very tight deadline to finish it. He did go to the Santa Monica pier and visited the Trapeze School there (must be why he looks so fit *g*)

As dinner came to a close and we started talking about his red eye flight that night and getting to the airport Randy was the first one to get up and leave our table. As he was walking out, Gale actually got up to stop him and say goodbye. That's when they both hugged each other and everyone in the room ooooohhd and ahhhhhd quietly. It was such a priceless moment that everyone in the room will forever remember. After that Michelle, Peter, Robert, Scott and Ryan followed getting up one by one until all of them were all standing together by the door. It was such a sweet & tender moment to have seen and a wonderful ending to such an amazing day.

This is just one of many memorable moments during the con that I fondly remember and makes me smile every time.

First of all, this is the compensation to all ticket holders when the con was reduced to just a one day event. An autograph with each cast member. Since I've never really attended a con before I expected that we would just be given a picture of the group with all their signatures when we picked up our registration folder since the schedule was so packed and left most sessions with only 20 minutes. So this one on one session actually came as a nice surprise which happened right after the opening ceremony.

When it was the Bablyon ticket holders turn to go (we were at the last row), we were all escorted to another room where each cast had their own table and seated with their PAs (Ryan, Robert, Peter, Michelle, Scott, Gale & Randy from left to right was their order, I think). We were instructed to line up with who ever has the shortest line (I actually thought that would have been Ryan but I was completely wrong. I ended up getting his autograph last :)).

Let's see my first autograph was with Peter and I got a chance to show him a pic of The Fosters billboard ad that we passed by while driving around in LA. After that, I saw that Randy's line was pretty short so I went ahead and waited for my turn. I said my hello and said it was nice to see you again. I gave him what I wanted him to sign which was his picture from Red - my icon - (a favorite of mine) and as he was about to sign it, he actually remembered my name and said it while signing at the same time which truly made my day. After that I thanked him with a goofy smile on my face and walked away.

I then moved on to Gale's line and waited a few minutes since there was a couple in front of me with about 5 things for him to sign. While in line, I actually finally met <\/a>wrstlgirl<\/b><\/a><\/span> and her friend (we talked briefly while killing time and waiting for our turn). Soon I was in front and after I gave my ticket to Gale's PA I said hello and shook the hand of God<\/s>, I mean Brian Kinney<\/s> Gale Harold again :). I definitely made sure that I didn't squeeze his soft hands too much since it was the one where he injured the tendon of his finger. After that I asked if I could have him sign my picture (posted above) which is about the size of a credit card and as I handed it to him, that's when he asked \"Are you giving me your room key?\" in complete seriousness - LOL. Of course I didn't know how to take that so I just stood there shocked (and a bit embarrassed too) and blushed but finally answered him back with a \"No but I can give it to you, if you'd like\" while smiling and giggled\/laugh like a silly school girl (sorry but when he looks at you it's so hard not to feel this way - young & crushing - made my heart pitter patter). His PA was looking at me funny and Gale just went back to signing my pic. Since I also had another pic for a friend to sign, I gave that to Gale and afterwards thanked him for his time and for being there then moved on to Scott, Michelle, Robert and finally Ryan who I chatted with about running, training and nutrition since he's into that and his upcoming Hawaii trail run. He was so very friendly and I have to agree with the other fangurls, very good looking in person with mesmerizing blue eyes. He was such a sweetie and had everyone fangirling after him all day & night. He was actually a nice addition to the cast and everyone made him feel welcome and included.
