that was so beautiful! i had to hit my brain a couple times like an old tv so i could get the puzzles right (lol) but it was so nice how the story pieced itself together little by little, really cool! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡
I WAS NOOOT EXPECTING TO DO MATH LOOOL. Lowkey really entertaining, I don't think I have the brain for puzzle games, but this one was good! I just got a bit lost on the story, like I have an idea, but I got too focused on the puzzle, especially trying to find words for the wordle and wordsearch, so... if anyone feels like explaining it, I'd be so grateful... ^^
I think what happened is that Abel (the guy) and Myles (the one we play as) are about to move in together after Myles divorced their wife, Diane, but Myles is being indecisive about signing the lease.
They have a conversation about how Diane didn't like Myles hanging out with Abel because they were in love/had hooked up in the past, and Diane had worked that out. In university, Myles and Abel hooked up in the locker room, and then they fell out as friends and didn't talk for seven years until Myles' wedding.
At the end, they reconcile and decide to move in together and give it a chance.
At least that's what I understood anyways!
Edit: Also all the puzzles are Myles thinking about the past, and not being present in the room with Abel. That's why the story only progresses after Myles has "thought through" (solved) all the puzzles.
This is really good. I came here playing with no knowledge whatsoever, and was shocked with how the gameplay is. It's beautiful, the way my jaw drops every now and then every time I get answers on the puzzles that CORRELATES to the backstory and storytelling that's going on between the characters.
I love it so much. I wish I could learn more about the characters. :'D
It was hard to figure out-- that I loved but they way the story was set? beautiful. the art? even more pretty it was sweet, and comforting, strangely even if it wasn't me there

Tbh i was so stressed out abt the Math and Wordsearch and I was so horrible at it that I sent the questions to my friends bc one, he is very good at math and two my other friend she is a master at wordsearch and bro i was so stress but eventually i did it, very good game to release ur stress and the artwork is very beautiful!

The story is presented in a very interesting way where we don't get all the information dumped on you instantly, but we're able to do our job as a player and put the pieces together ourselves and interpret them! Great job!!!

Well your comment is kinda old but to answer, in my opinion MC didn't "cheat", as the locker room incident happened during university and MC very probably met and got engaged with their wife after.
MC just continued to have feelings inside of their heart, I guess.
I understand what you mean but that's not emotional cheating, no, since Myles made sure to tank his relationship with Abel. The disliking and dissing Abel part seems odd? Man didn't (doesn't? depending on what dialogue you pick?) seem to even fully know Myles' conflicted yearning for him before the game.
Myles' inability to face his forbidden same-sex attraction (internalised homofobia?) towards his ex-BFF ended up hurting both Diane AND Abel for years :<
I think it's because of how they both acted / are acting.
Probably, mainly Myles' fault for somewhat leading both of them on. But that's why I said emotions are messy. It just feels like he wasn't honest with Anne or Abel.
Abel's language, while seemingly supportive, have undercurrents of a tone that seems very manipulative. The kind of guy who will respond to a situation that suits him and then lay claim that it's you who is responsible for all the drama.
This was a great simulation of someone who's so mentally scattered that it's difficult for them to get a handle on what's happening.
