Rob Crosse is a visual artist working predominantly with photography and video. His work considers ageing beyond narratives of decline, exploring gestures, routines, and everyday interactions to reveal how connection, vulnerability, and tenderness shape relationships and shared spaces.

Biography

Recent exhibitions include Growing Wild, Auto Italia, London (2025); Nurture Gaia, Bangkok Biennale (2024); Love is Louder, Bozar, Brussels (2024); Orangerie of Care, nGbk, Berlin (2024) and Chaleur Humaine, LAAC (Musées Dunkirk) (2023). His work has been screened at the Berlinische Gallery, Berlin; BFI, London Film Festival; Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin and Staatliche Kunstsammlung, Dresden, among others. He has completed residencies at Fogo Island Arts (Newfoundland, Canada); Videotage/Videoclub (Hong Kong); Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts (Nebraska, U.S.A) and Katara Art Center (Doha, Qatar). Crosse participated in the Berlin Programme for Artists during 2019-2020 and received the Ars Viva Prize in 2020.
