About the RNECA
“Connecting our Community”
The North East Community Association is the Hub for programs offered in our community. Most programs are hosted at the North East Community Centre, which is also available for booking and rental for other community based programs and private functions, through their website https://rnecc.ca. The neighborhood has a number of schools including Tawaw, St. Raphael, Mother Teresa, Harvest City Christian Academy and Monseigneur de Laval, as well as a diverse commercial area and a light industrial area.
Representatives of the North East Community Association appreciate the partnerships and collaboration between the various small and large community groups & businesses operating within the neighbourhood. They especially enjoy the growing feeling of belonging and support as the groups lend a helping hand to one another and to the residents.
The North East Community Association (NECA) utilizes community partners and volunteers to build strength, resiliency and to improve the quality of life for those living within the community. This is accomplished by providing equitable and inclusive social programs and information to create a safe, welcoming environment that fosters social connections, promotes education, and facilitates skill-building.
The North East Community Association works towards building a community where all residents have the skills and basic needs required to build a foundation for a safe and healthy life.
