well i'm still (happily) stuck in Japan, doing nothing but chilling and pretending that real life work doesn't start next week. it's fantastic to be taking random pictures of everything (including hsj bilboards and kisumai posters) just because i CAN, flipping through The Television weekly at different bookstores and just staring at ABC-Z's fantastic muscles ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the Playzone coverage, proudly watching the kisumai CMs on tv, and of course the Johnny's shop - even if i don't end up buying anything except shop photos. i forgot about papa pics though GEEZ SELF >.<

i've decided to kind of move my RL blogging to here since it's too much trouble to maintain my domain, and anyway RL is just about work-bitching and fangil-flailing, so well. =D

took half day off work today so that i can finish packing before dinner, and ended up dling all the stuff i haven't had the chance to get yet (e.g. the kisumai ulala clip at o_e_subs <3 i'm so glad that the awesome enshinge likes most of the same groups as i do so there is never a lack of things to read or dl to watch XD)

and i wonder if my dad's japan mobile phone allows the downloading of kisumai's songs from dwango.. it's a rather barebones phone, i think. but omg imagine if i could! FAIYAA BEAT~ ♥

no, actually i'm not a ya-ya-yah fan (i got into JE way too late), but the fics are written really well. the progression went like this: search for ABC fics, turn to ABC+shoon cos there's a lack love for ABC, read shoon+yabu fics since i like yabu and hikaru well enough. i think i've moved on alot from thinking that shoon's kinda weird and act cute (from 2008 shokura eps) to .. a much preferred alternative to hasshi in ABC, to liking him. i think it helped that lots of fics that i've been reading have featured him and the whole HSJ-debut. but anyway, i think i'm gonna start hunting down ya-ya-yah stuff =D

yay i love making lists. my brain is just about bursting from remembering all these =D and finally!!! now that i've got around REALLY clearing stuff off my HDD to make space for my exploding k8 and shokura stuff (i don't even dl stuff on .. yamapi and toma and hikaru even though i like them muchly) and.. -drumroll- i've created 35gb of space! when there was only 500mb yesterday!!!! (i'm good~) so.. i'm off to search for stuff to dl (which i have no idea even exists on the internet or not..)

eh... this thing isn't really accurate i think. how did hina and ryo climb above toma?! -_- and yamapi to the 4th place? (i think the top 10 might be totally changed if A.B.C. and butoukan were included in the rankings. =X well. other than first place cos that's reserved for yoko =X) and how did nagase drop to the bottom of the list when there are even more people above him that i don't even know!?

eeeewwww kis-my-ft2 (i am so glad i can finally spell this properly =p) has REALLY ugly costumes.. red, blue, silver, weird sleeves (like sleeveless on one side and 3/4 sleeves on the other for taipi -_- and not much better for the rest -_-) UGH. it's in LQ though so i won't cap them and spoil your eyes -_- (to lazy to as well)

tsuka-chan's hair is going down the crap road again.. u'd have thought he gets paid enough for being in butoukan and A.B.C. to get a proper haircut every 2 months or so -_- WHYWHYWHY don't you go cut your hair tsuka-chan?! such a cute face and bright smile hidden by the layers and layers of hair -_- i liked his spiky hair circa end 2007/beginning 2008. better with blonde hair but black isn't so bad IF HE BOTHERS TO CUT IT -_- how does he breakdance and somersault with hair falling into his face?!

as modorenai knows, i was so crazy about k8 that i decided to get it as a belated xmas present.. which is kind of stupid considering that there is only 2-3 months on the calendar left till the end of it, but still. it doubles up as REALLY PRETTY posters XD (i dled scans of the calendar long ago. and hey yoko looks FABULOUS in there XD). yesasia charged US$19.90 after discount though.. which is.. well. not cheap, but still. FREE SHIPPING ROCKS (esp with good friends like modorenai</lj> to share in the spending so that we qualify XD). i have stupid pics and a video clip of me opening the beautiful package (AND THE REFILLS ARE ABSOLUTE ♥♥♥), but am too lazy to post. for now.

i can't wait for the 09-10 calendar to come, although i think i'll be overseas by the time kino actually brings them in (they said early april. oh god. how am i supposed to live till then?!).. and well, i still think HUGEASS A2 SIZED WALL CALENDARS rock more than tiny desk calendars. geez, yoko's face was all of 2 inches wide in the HUGE calendar on my wall (okay, well, ryo's face is the width of the calendar. not fair >.<). imagine that scaled down to desk calendar size.

to make myself happier from being stuck in bed all day (listening to recomen and laughing at the totally absurd things they say =X), i am going to preorder the puzzle LE! XD early bday present to myself. (if anyone cares, i just want all the dvds of k8 for my bday - that's spirits, heat up, excite and 47.. and all the LE of the albums/singles that were bundled with dvds. i'd much rather see them in action cos they are so spontaneous and hilarious XD)

have been seeing lots of cute (or "kyuute" like how yoko said it XD) yoko in can!jani (i have an obsession with guys in specs. really. all thanks to my tiny brother-complex).. i love his old hair. one day i will get off my lazy ass and cap stuff so that i can spread the love XD (am currently dling scans on a whim.. and hyperventilating over pics of yoko and maru from last year's con.. where they are so absolutely hot)

off to dl this week's mei-chan raw (and last week's subs although lazy me probably won't rewatch it.. not when i've got so much of k8 to watch XD)

am disgustingly sick due to the disgusting weather and the disgusting hours i've been keeping during my 1 week (++) break. payback time now. (so if i haven't replied your comments or commented much in your ljs, it's cos i'm sick and i'm sorry =( )

watched hsj's PVs and making videos (desperately seeking hikaru with my sleep-addled eyes) .. did i mention how cute he looks in your seed? (in the 5 seconds that he actually appears in the corner of the screen -_-).. which is more than i can say for his graduation clips (the long floppy retro hair.. oh dear hikaru. you already look like yogi bear to begin with. floppy fur does not make it any better =X) and yes, i realised i have an indecent obsession with their hair =X

relying on more eps on can!jani and maybe some butoukan (tsuka-chan's smile XD) to tide me through my bed-ridden state.. until hetalia ep 6 is subbed (and posted on the comm cos i'm too lazy to find it myself =X)

oh! even more random - ryo's accident .. when? yesterday? haha it is pretty amusing to see the news fans go "oh no ryo-chan! poor baby!" (yes that was what someone said) and eito fans are more cool about it.. maybe cos he was written as a news member and not k8 hehe =X ok but to be nice (which is not what i am when i'm sick), news has gone through a long suspension and loss of more members than k8, so their fans are likely to be more paranoid when something happens. the media did make a big hooha out of it too. i just hope it doesn't affect eito much.. I WANT A SPRING CON!!! XD

i really should change the layout of this page. it's getting a little blinding for my old eyes, especially since i usually come here in the wee hours of the morning -_-

am currently into my 4th consecutive hour on youtube watching shuuji to akira clips -_- at quality levels so low that the pixellation are in BLOCKS of 1cm widths. -_- i'm super duper hooked on seishun amigo (i know, i'm late. kamepi is so old that i doubt any fans are still around) cos i love how the song sounds (and as i type, "daite senorita" KEEPS running through my head -_-) and shhhhh~ i really want to learn how to do the dance XD

since i'm randomly blogging on JE (which is the sole purpose of this lj's existence), i'm glad to report that i'm getting better at identifying voices (although yasu's voice will forever baffle me -_-).. and i'm better at lyrics! it's helping me improve my japanese (i hope) cos i'm learning new kanji XD what a great excuse hurhur

can't wait to listen to this week's recomen again (was busy with my project while listening on thurs, so 90% of it went past me -_-) and can!jani~

oh yeah. while surfing around youtube, i finally managed to watch NewS in action.. up till now, my exposure to them has only been.. taiyou no namida (?) PV which i dled by accident. i dunno, being a totally biased k8 fan (i'm still new to it thus my loyalty is at 1000% now XD) and absolutely foreign to JE till like 3 months ago, i've always been against NewS.. cos of ryo. i STILL think it's a really stupid idea to put one person into two popular bands (and hey if u don't expect the band to become popular, you wouldn't have created them in the first place.. right, johnny? >.<).. and to a k8 fan, it's only normal to resent news for "snatching" ryo away....... right? -is stoned by news fans (boy am i making myself popular to other fandoms -_-)- and being biased, i've always assumed that ryo would prefer fun crazy together k8 to stodgy news (where he'd have to always keep up his image).. but i might be wrong. (anyway, i don't know anything abt news so how do i even compare?) i have to say, the clip i saw on ryo and pi singing seishun amigo during the news pacific tour was impressive. i've never seen ryo in his IDOL mode (with cool songs and cool dancing a la kattun) and honestly, he's a damn good dancer. *-* (and i've always been a closet yamapi <strike>fan</strike> ever since proposal daisakusen).. he looks happy with news during the tour.. so now, i'm not so certain that news is all that <i>EVIL</I>. especially since news calls ryo "ryo-chan" (i think kato does at least..) but yoko calls ryo nishikido (not sure abt the others) (and this was on last week's recomen i think).. so maybe ryo's actually closer to news? i dread to think that k8 is actually like a burden to him =(

anyway, sometimes i wish k8 was more cool and idol-ish - in the sense that they have more mainstream jpop songs and cool dance moves.. especially since i'm sure they can all dance well (they WERE juniors before, after all -_- although their joints might be rusty by now =X). i do recognise that they are more niche in the sense that they were marketed different from the jpop look - otherwise, they wouldn't have started out in the enka classification, and their appeal is their down-to-earth, warm and sincere approach, rather than the cool-put-them-on-a-pedestal-to-worship type. the commoner's friend type, ya know? (haha) but secretly i wish they could SOMETIMES be cool to show everyone else (all the other JE bands -coughkattuncough-) that they can be cool and have fangirls go crazy (not like they aren't already crazy anyway =X) if they wanted to.. somehow i get the slight impression that they are considered.. not as good cos all they know how to do is talk and manzai. i dunno, it's a weird twisted feeling of wanting to flaunt/show them off.. maybe to prove to ryo that k8 is better than news? okay this is getting weirder.

okay anyway. i'm back to ogling at pi (sorry kame =X u were only cute in that one ep of gokusen 2 before jin/moco-chan/teppei overshadowed you. XD) until i can find the shuuji to akira PV to download (and rip to mp3 if i have to...)
