1) Get my driving license - this one totally didn't materialise lol. I WILL WORK ON IT THIS YEAR orz<\/i>

2) Restart Japanese lessons - this one was a absolute fail too >_> well, I bought books on Japanese, and I honed my business Japanese big time thanks to work? :X<\/i>

3) Start towards a professional certification (in strategy or in project management) - this is a really bad trend. did nothing to this tooooooo<\/i>

4) Get organised by putting in all appointments into the iPhone calendar - finally an achievement. did this, and even created and shared a google calendar for my trips and plans!<\/i>

5) Visit a new city - nailed this too. visited Manila and Perth this year<\/i>

6) Make new friends - say yes when people ask me out for social activities - did this too.. thanks to the new job, I really had to exert myself in networking, going out for dinner \/ drinks with my colleagues, even 1-to-1 dinner with the GM of Perth Branch :x also random drinks, group gatherings like the golden rooster movie, kabuki-related activities, jwest con screening, clari's xmas party... even Rachel's brother!<\/i>
<\/a>

2015 was crazily busy, at work \/ family \/ temple-related. i had so many meltdowns that they became a daily occurance, partnering my nights of insomnia or nightmares. I was also sick a lot, which didn't help my emotional instability.

I travelled 11 times in 2015 to 12 places, which means I was out of the country at least once every month in the year except Nov. Tokyo in Jan, SYD in Feb, Manila in Mar, Taipei in Apr, Tokyo in May-Jun, HK in Jul, Tokyo in Aug, SYD\/Perth in Sep, Tokyo in Oct, SYD and KL in Dec. These were mostly 2-3 day trips, and they were exhausting.. but I wanted to go to all these trips. Finally managed to meet friends like Joji in Taipei and Karina in Sydney... as well as old friends whom I've not met for awhile in Taipei and Tokyo. Although I didn't manage to visit Kira, she came to Singapore with Leanne, Chris and Ceci ♥ so there was my unofficial goal of getting people to visit me in 2015 - thanks to Takki.

The highlights of 2015 were mostly JE related - Ebi's Early Summer Concert, <\/span>Kabuki in SG... the Kabuki week was surreal, the way I worked so hard in the day, sort out things \/ met up with people during lunch, then run to MBS for the evening shows. It felt like I was living in SG in the day and in Tokyo at night. Being able to see Dance Family (sans 4U), Snowman and Takki (!!!!!!) in SG still boggles my mind even now. Everything that happened - actually being able to send flowers, Rasa Sayang with Ikechan, meeting Kira in SG, everything EVERYTHING.. I don't have the words to express myself, but it was a once-in-a-lifetime of experience, and I'm glad I did (almost) all I possibly could to maximise this chance.

Mummy fractured her knee and went through an operation in May, and with that incident I became the part time nurse \/ housekeeper on top of my day job on top of all my temple responsibilities. I felt like I was being pulled apart in 3 different directions with everyone and everything wanting a piece of me. I lost my purpose in life, ability to breathe, time to think... I lost myself. But after my October trip, I was able to recharge, find the bits of myself and piece them together, and restart again. <\/span>

Although it was a really trying year, it made me feel even more acutely and be even more grateful for all the people in my life who stuck around and didn't let me drown. People who made an effort to meet me, work around my busy schedule without being irritated at how difficult it was, people who were my emotional support.. like how the bff went for weekly drinking sessions with me in the beginning of the year (despite not drinking and just watching me and listening to me complain), my senpai who sat through all my emotional breakdowns (including once when i cried over the phone from SYD or when I almost had an asthma attack and had to use my inhaler halfway through our discussion), Rachel who read my cryptic tweets and asked to meet me during one of my secret Tokyo trips, Aya and J who held me through all my crying and fed me \/ drank with me \/ laughed at dumb things together \/ held me through all my dying...... and the list goes on. Everyone who bothered to reply my miserable tweets to cheer me on and shower me with care, thank you ♥ all of you ♥

2015 was the year of firsts. The first time I sat in business class, first time I worked for a male boss, first time experiencing a proper earthquake, first time having a JE performance in Singapore, the first of my best friends to get married, first (\/second\/third\/hundredth) time I cried at work.<\/span>.. but it was also a year of endings, sadness, and then closure. Ikechan left JE, JT left this world, and my senpai transferred out of my department back to Japan. Two of my closest friends decided to fall off the face of the earth. I finally am able to confidently say that I am absolutely over and closed the chapter on my previous relationship (after 4 years, yes).

In this case, I guess 2016 is the year of new chapters, or more appropriately, restart \/ re-learning? Learn how to love again, to be the person I was before HK changed me, learn to be independent without my senpai supporting me through everything. Learn to make friends again, and learn to let go. Learn how to live and be happy, again. The only way is forward, and I don't want to shuffle at the same spot again, now that I'm starting the chapter of my 30s.

So anyway, for posterity, my 2016 goals


1. Obtain my driving licence

2. Lose weight and maintain the weight loss

3. Exert myself fully in all aspects

4. Visit London again

The one main thing I didn't accomplish in 2015 was to watch Noeru despite my declaration - somehow, it became the year of Ebi again :X this year, I'm really only aiming to watch Traja's Crea (now that Ikechan isn't in JE anymore, I scratched out my original goal to also watch MAD's Crea).. and to see JB again.

anyway, this trip was really awesome ♥ handled the cold better than expected, managed to see tsukachan and ebi doing desperado on the hamster wheel (!!!!!!), eito concerts were super amazing, and of course meeting friends- pippa, kaji, riikka and romi, rachel, and a grads reunion - and getting to know new people \\o\/ i really much prefer to travel with people rather than alone when going on fandom trips ._.

staying wit <\/a>janys<\/b><\/a><\/span>, <\/a>turtle_aya<\/b><\/a><\/span> nd later  <\/a>iceblueaya<\/b><\/a><\/span> as fun~ we are crazy eighters together (shrieking\/sobbing at the tv, bouncing and rolling on the bed, deathclinging to each other etc etc) :Dv am glad j put up with the days when i'm tired and unwilling to speak, aya tolerating us trolling her when she's trying to sleep, and dora drawing the clear divide between the crays and the sane in the room :p

so anyway, what we did (other than troll each other in the room \/ derp around \/ spend hours doing makeup and hair thanks to watching videos like MONSTERS):

Xmas Eve: me <\/a>yararanger<\/b><\/a><\/span> or food at sweets paradise, then it was an unwholesome amount of time and money spent at the jshop and papa shop before heading to eggman for Plan-B! where we talked to the boys, shook their hands (makki did this hand clasping thing to me after shaking my hand wwwwww he's so adorable) and pippa got the drumstick!

Xmas day was spent freezing our asses off at Disneysea after being 2hrs behind schedule (damn that was one less ride we could have taken :< ) where i kind of went a bit crazy at mama's biscotti bakery with the little green dumplings ;;;;;

(didn't stop me from crying a little at how our Z has grown up to be so fine) ;A; also, met the grads for dinner at marunouchi on the 28th literally 2 buildings away from teigeki and regretting not going for jworld again ;-;

Tsukada cracked an eye open, felt the light shoot straight into the back of his skull, and immediately wished that he had kept it shut. Drinking was normal, getting drunk on the night of your official debut was expected, but ordering a cocktail called Caramel Oblivion was, well, asking for it. His brain definitely felt like a puddle of caramel zapped into oblivion thrice over.

Totsuka had left when they moved to their third club the previous night, with their Z proclaiming with the most angelic expression that he needed to be escorted home. Goseki was the deadweight currently piled half across his legs, while Kawai... Kawai was definitely awake, judging from the noises coming from his room. And from the sound of it, someone<\/i> else was also being very awake in there.

Humming to himself, Tsukada wriggled into a more comfortable position (away from Goseki's elbows digging into his side), and waited for the pair inside the room to be done. 

Not that it was a long wait.

Giving it a few minutes of buffer after the moans died off, he slid off the sofa, landing cat-like, and moved stealthily to the door of Kawai's room. With his cell phone switched to camera mode and ready in his hand, Tsukada opened the door quietly, snapped a few pictures, and withdrew. 

Mission accomplished and mail sent out, Tsukada settled back beside Goseki. Pictures spread quickly enough among the Juniors, but the speed would be much slower this time with the Jimusho's main broadcasters engaged elsewhere.

Fandom-wise, the ups of 2011 were Kisumai's debut and going for their debut cons (my first time watching a JE con live!), going for Playzone and Shounentachi (and being present when they announced their first solo con!) for A.B.C-Z and their debut announcement, meeting <\/a>snowqueenofhoth<\/b><\/a><\/span>, the Finnish girls, <\/a>yararanger<\/b><\/a><\/span> and Tsukachan in Japan in summer, and making many new fandom friends :) which made up for the lows like RyoPi leaving NewS, Ryutarou's smoking scandal, and now MSM's split.

In the real life, moving to HK for work in February (+ 1 month of being deaf in one ear and the associated visits to specialists and medication) was the biggest change, where I had to form a new life from scratch - friends, colleagues, house etc. I can't say it has been a bed of roses but it hasn't been too bad (if I didn't move here, the amazing trip to Japan in summer wouldn't have been possible :X). And the other only notable thing this year was being dumped by the same guy for the third time in 5 years, after talks about getting engaged etc. But anyway, I survived the year in one piece, mostly thanks to my K8 and NEWS girls watching cons with me after work over skype, and everyone else just being on twitter and whatsapp. ♥

Looking forward, 2012 looks set to be amazing, with Kisumai's 47 prefecture tour and Asia tour, A.B.C-Z's debut DVD in Feb and the performances from Feb-May (and hopefully Asia performances too? :D) and of course, Kanjani8's eight year. EITO RANGERS ♥ the plan is to go to Japan in Feb, Aug and Nov maybe? :D Hopefully I can meet up with everyone in Japan again this year~ ♥

So far, resolutions for the year are:
1) go on soba\/udon diet and gym more often - need to keep my weight back at 48-51kg;
2) diligently attend Japanese lessons orz (I need to do something about this commitment problem of mine;
3) start investing properly (shame on me, I know);
4) contribute more to fandom - get back into writing drabbles\/fics, scan as much of Tsukachan's photos\/etc as possible, etc;
5) save enough to go to either Taiwan or Korea as well for Ebi\/Kisumai;
6) improve my temper.

      - the songs are really great, honestly! i like the beginning of kick (the digital effect) XD listening to ryo, maru and baru's solos while flailing here

      - haha the boys' have pretty bad skin when taken from such a close distance.. i like how normal they are *squishes*

      BUT. RL sucks. i think i shall turn into a hermit and live in the mountains and forget that techonology exists. nnrrgghghgh. (just ignore that the nearest mountain is in the next country). okay cutting through the drama, my stupid hdd decided to make the whole folder of all my JE related stuff disappear. so that's all my scans, dls, subs, blahblah. which, ADMITTEDLY, isn't a lot (given that it was only collected over 1.5 years or so?), but i happen to be a controlfreak\/perfectionist. i can't stand the thought of having to re-dl and recategorise everything all over again. \/major rant

      i won't say i'm VERY into dramas, i drift in and out of them. mainly too lazy (and my laptop too slow) to download, but i watch anything i have in my hard disk (stolen from =p) especially when i should be studying instead<\/strike> jdramas mostly, american sitcoms are not my kind of stuff other than how i met your mother <3
