Overview
We provide training on many data management and sharing topics such as: writing a data management and sharing plan, data curation, and reproducible research best practices. Our suite of tool trainings covers RDMC-managed tools including REDCap@UNC, UNC Dataverse, OnCore, and Veeva SiteVault. Please browse our trainings within Carolina Talent and review the calendar below for upcoming training sessions.

Carolina Talent Training
Register for our training modules in Carolina Talent to learn more about data management and sharing standards and best practices, or how to use certain tools to support your research data needs.
Data Management & Sharing
Learn about data management and sharing best practices and standards to incorporate into your regular research routines to ensure you can comply with funding agency policies by making your data FAIR and reproducible. Our experts provide the foundational knowledge as well as practical examples in these online modules to help you skill up.
UNC Dataverse
Our training modules cover orientations for Basic Data Management Service clients and General Users, data sharing best practices within UNC Dataverse, and more advanced topics such as setting permissions, enabling access restriction workflows, and data usage metrics.
REDCap@UNC

For researchers using REDCap Part 11, our Part 11 training in Carolina Talent is required.
OnCore
All new OnCore users are required to take the Carolina Talent OnCore training.
Users must submit an access request through the OnCore Support Portal prior to registering for training sessions.
Veeva SiteVault
All new Veeva SiteVault users are required to take the Carolina Talent Veeva SiteVault training before gaining access to the platform.
Users must submit a request through our Veeva Support Portal to get direct links to their required training.
View-only users may optionally take the training below in Carolina Talent.
