The research project on “Languages of Reform” has sucessfully started with a kick-off-conference at the German Historical Institute Paris on december 10th-12th 2014.
Almost all of the 25 participants of this international project could make it to Paris. In short 30-minute presentations the individual research projects were discussed. The thursday night was a special moment when Daniel Roche gave a public lecture on how the history of ideas and social history have influenced each other in the past and how they should be combined for future research.
