You guys. Gale Morgan Howard III is officially public on Twitter and Facebook. Also his name is now Gale Morgan Howard III. No, really. First the QAF movie push and now this. IT'S LIKE I DON'T EVEN KNOW HIM ANYMORE. And sure, no doubt these accounts are 100% for career networking and not for randomly reccing his favorite beard brushes while posting selfies of himself eating Ben & Jerry's in his bathroom. (That's how I like to imagine his private Twitter being.) But I do not even care! Assuming Gale is posting himself most of the time (and not an assistant or a drunk Randolph Clarke Harrison I), there's sure to be some classic Galeisms coming our way. I HAVE PRAYED FOR THIS DAY AND NOW IT IS HERE AMEN AND BOOYAH BABY.

Am also pretty amused at the "The False Prophet" header on his Twitter. Feels a little self-deprecating and a tongue-in-cheek eye poke to fandom and a selfie minus an actual face at a play/concert all at once, heh. Anyone know what it's actually from?

01. Gale and his rock star beard making it to Funny or Die. You guys, I'm more excited about this than I've been about any of the recent stuff he's been making. GALE DID A COMEDY SKIT WUT IS HAPPENING AND SOMEONE MAKE IT HAPPEN AGAIN. Fave part (aside from every single second of bitchy-waiter!Gale): The "Oh. Ow." from the woman after Gale smacks her with the menus lol. Her name is Tara and I've already stalked her imdb for future things of hers to watch.

02. Gale appearing in other things that are not superior comedy skits, but are still Gale Freakin' Howard and therefore relevant to my interests:

This one is labelled Blind Turn a novel by Todd Garlington, which I hear as Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire in my head and say it just as dramatically. So, Gale is a musician (guitar!) and looking moody and lost and scruffy and all in a pair of really tight, beat up jeans and doing his best Cory Hart impression wearing his own sunglasses at night. So basically it's Gale playing Gale on a day off. And it is hot, guh. (Of course, I'm not counting the pill-popping and desperation and what looks like some kind of payoff or debt or something adlfkjlk.) I blinked when I saw it was all filmed/etc by Shirley Petchprapa. Turns out I like her stuff when she has someone else's outline to work from, heh. Anyone read the book yet? I wanna, to picture Gale in my head as this Vincent character if nothing else.
  
• Defiance bloopers, AKA Gale being a sing-y dork for approximately two seconds. Starts at :10. He shows up again toward the end (in the same scene), but it's not his blooper. Why ya gotta be so professional, Galeface? Mess up more kthx. Or more like, stop being stingy with the Gale footage, SyFy. As for the other bloopers, gotta say, they make it pretty obvious that working on the show is a lot more fun than actually having to watch it.
  
• Another Shirley Petchprapa vid. It's basically like he's auditioning for an American Horror Story dream sequence. IDEK.

04. Cutest. goal. evah. by a toddler. He's so adorable -- arms up, yay! -- but it's the audience reaction once they realize what's happening that makes it. <3

08. My favorite song right now: Dust to Dust - The Civil Wars It's one of those songs that's so gorgeous, it can make you cry. I want it to be fanvidded for like, every fandom I'm in. (Why ya gotta break up, band, why?)

09. Starcher Trek. What is that? Only the best thing to ever happen to the TOS animated series, aka footage dubbed with Archer audio. Yes, it is as awesome as you're envisioning, my friends. The second ep just went up. \:D/

11. Seeing both ST: Into Darkness and FATF 6 for the third time this week. I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH.

12. Q: Is there any better way to end a post than with Benedict Cumberbatch loling for 30 seconds straight? A: AHAHAHAHA NO.

Was working on my Gale/Defiance post and had the Rafa match on at the same time and. Okay, wow, Rafa just went down in the first round, straight sets. :( It was pretty painful to watch, even as he flew across the court. You could tell something wasn't right, especially toward the end. Uncle Toni and I had matching expressions of woe hidden behind our hands. I honestly thought Rafa was gonna have to default, but my Brave Little Toaster hung in there.

Fingers crossed he's working (on a movie? I think that's the current rumor?) or been home with family or whatever (and by whatever I mean bugging Randy in NY with goofy jokes as they lay around Randy's bed, watching cable and eating popcorn between rounds of hot sex, of course). Just seems like he's been gone foreeeeever. But it's only been, what? A couple months? I got so spoiled with that Gale feast we had and now it's famine time, woe.

All of this totally made me remember how Peter Wingfield (♥Methos 4EVA♥) announced a bit ago he was retiring from acting and going back to school to finish becoming a doctor and, dude, I immediately went, "Huh. I can so see Gale doing that." Not a doctor, of course, heh, but it's almost too crazy-easy for me to imagine Gale walking away from it all and being that bearded guy that owns the corner vintage record store and walks around with a marijuana lollipop in his mouth all the time, or traveling the world and keeping himself flush in new hats by freelancing as a photographer.

Or maybe he and Randy could get together and organize cons. :P

01. This scene from the finale of Whitney is my new favorite thing homg. PERFECT DRUNK GUY IS PERFECT. Even if this series is a hot mess. No, really. I gave up after the 2nd ep. But I ducked back in toward the end of the season and it'd gotten better. Now I basically only watch for the scenes between Whitney and the boyfriend. They've got the wicked chemistry, yo. And Chris D'Elia (said boyfriend) is hot. Mm. Yes.

02. Much as we tease Gale for his y'knows, was re-reading an old interview from 2004 and Randy does it too, heh. Times he says You know = 33 times. And a bonus! Times he says I mean = 31 times. This is Randy. This is Randy's brain after four seasons of sucking Gale Howard's brain out his mouth. I SAID MOUTH. Dirty minds.
