Plus a mini Japanese lesson for die hard fans out there :)
Bleh, all guardians love singing about the sky in at least one line of their character songs (Tsuna, you are so loved >:( dammit!) but hey, this particular album is called Horizon, even, so allow me to fangirl at least a little bit kthx!
I've found a couple of translations for Horizon, but I'm not satisfied with how they're done. So I wrote my own translation of the song. I hope I managed to provide a clear translation that flows more naturally in normal English. My imagination is extreme at times, but for the sake of fangirlism and fangasm, let's dissect Hibari's character song, Horizon for touching 1827 loveliness :)
And nooooo. This is not an excuse for a songfic P*note that in songs (and in most slangs, at least in ones that I'm familiar with), [teru] and [teiru] means the same.Feel free to read this Japanese research by Toru Takagi entitled [Word Use Change in Japanese Popular Songs: From "Teiru" to "Teru"]
HERE for clarification's sake.
( The song of longing and denial and, and, and.... pining for the sky :PCollapse )Pfft. That was rather long *__*
I'm still working on my doujin albeit at a very leisurely pace. I mean it. Very, very leisurely. I found a very reasonable printing company with wonderful staff, so my mind is at ease. I don't have to rush since it won't be printed until February :3
Anyway, a small art spam (again XD):
Until later ♥
p.s/ I found the kataomoi geass anthology my old circle participated in last year sold out @ mandarake and laughed like hell. I still can't believe what we did there :P
Lol, Kanon, lol XD
