Terence Raum
In his dreams Terence was happy. Happy, confident and just plain cool (and weirdly enough had very curly blonde hair), something that he was decidedly not in this so called ‘real life’ of his. And so Terence tried to go into his dreams.
He had tried to create the dream for years now, he had studied dreaming, even though his family just shook their heads at him - especially, when he didn’t take the (well paid) job at the sleep center of the local hospital.
But he needed these dreams, he knew with them everything would be better. They were more than just dreams to him, they were his chance to be someone better.

Pete Peck
Pete Peck - yes, that was his name; no he wasn’t called Peter; yes, people had asked him if his pecker was as short as him name, thank you very much for not repeating it - was Terence’s best friend (only friend). He knew Terence head was far away in some distant cloud most of the time, but the man had saved him from possible suspension, back in primary school, by telling Mrs. Ritter that he had told Pete to write something unmentionable about Latisha Stone on the gymlockerwall, just so he could correct his spelling of her name - they had bonded during the following week of detention - and for some reason that meant they were now stuck with each other.

Eloise Travers
Occasionally, Eloise Travers wondered, who she had pissed off in a past life to end up where she was. But then it could be worse - she could be back trying to pay for tuition by working at a telemarketers.
But what had previously started as some interesting, and later tedious experiments in dream science, had become seriously creepy over the last few weeks, and she really wanted back to her normal life and possibly join a Sorority. Nobody in a Sorority ever tried to tell their boss that going back into their dream is a bad idea, because it may kill her - literally.

Reid Jones
(in dreamworld)
Reid Jones had never considered working at a telemarketers, but the prospect seemed tempting right about now. She had answered an add for the position of an assistant in a Dream Science lab, thinking that she’d just take notes of some people’s sleeping patterns, but things in this lab were... odd.
Her boss seemed rather irrational about falling asleep himself, and often asked her about her life outside of work in a manner that was borderline intrusive, well actually he didn’t seem to know any borders. And the fact, that her answers never seemed quite intrinsic enough was starting to freak her out.

Liam
(in dreamworld)
Liam had known Terence since childhood, when they had spent time in detention together. The two had changed their status from best friends to lovers in their late teens, after way too many furtive glances and awkward conversations about Latisha Stone’s breasts, that neither of them fancied (they were nice breasts, though, they both agreed).
He still found it adorable, how whenever they went to sleep, Terence looked at him, as if he wouldn’t see him again the next day.
At one point recently, Terence had called him Pete and that had led to their worst fight, well only fight really, in their long relationship. He still hadn’t really told him, who this Pete character was.

Marisol
Marisol was a woman with a plan, what that was nobody but she knew, but she would see it realised.

lame show is lame, and not what I had originally planned, but this has two Hiddles, so it won...

Ever since he was a boy Terence Raum had dreamed of another world. A world that looked like his, but where the people were just... different.
When he grew up these dreams were becoming more sporadic, and yet every few months he would find himself back there, and when he woke up he felt like he had just taken the strangest vacation and was yearning to visit this place again. But he was never able to force these dreams, he wasn’t even really able to pinpoint just what had made this place to special, after he had woken up.
Now a talented, yet criminally underfunded Oneirologist, Terence Raum, was working toward finding a way to control his dreams and finding out more about the world in his head.
A mysterious woman says she can help him live in this dream forever, but what will happen to everyone around him when he leaves them? And what reasons does she have for helping him?
