It's all amarissia's fault, what with her talk of taking online courses.
Just on a whim, I googled online university courses - in the UK, because here in Germany we don't believe that anyone who has *finished* University would *ever* want to take another course in his or her life. So there is no 'going back to College/University as a full-time employed adult'. What I mean to say is that we *do* have community learning centers, but they're geared more towards the 'oh so you want to dabble a bit in your hobby' crowd. Not towards *maybe* getting back to accumulating University credits so you *might* finish up a degree... >.> There are no "Departments of Continuing Education" in our Universities.
I get 10 creds out of it, if I finish it. And that can count towards actually getting a degree - online. >.> They even have archaeology as an online course (is *terribly* tempted...).
What do you think? Creative Writing - maybe combined with English Lit? To further my knowledge of writing? Not too much in the beginning - I haven't done University courses in a *very* long time. But maybe one or two to start with?
*ponders*
Having a degree would *really* be nice... I wonder whether they'd accept my ancient credits that I'd gotten at NYU, way, way, *way* back?... *ponders some more*.
Heh! I distinctly remember Sister Anna Maria telling someone (Not me) "It's a desk. Not a chair." As long as it holds your stuff and a computer, you'll be fine.

Thank you! I'm very, very happy with it! :)
Getting there. It's a bit of a long process, but she's feeling better already...
It wouldn't hold my weight, should I try to sit on it, but for my papers and the cat it's perfect. :)
And it's *big*! Finally enough room for all my stuff... ^^
