You will have 48 hours to post an application once you become a member. If your application is not posted in that time frame you will be deleted from the community.
When posting your application: 1) You may only have ONE PIGGY PER POST to avoid confusion.
2) All post must have "New piggy for rating: *your piggy's name*" in the subject bar.
3) Fill out the following survey when you post pictures of your piggy to be rated SURVEY FOR THE PIGGY -What is your name/nicknames: -How old are you (roughly): -What sex are you: -Describe your physical traits: -Describe your personality: -Do you live with other piggies: -What is your favorite food: -What makes you WHEEEK: OPTIONAL -What country/state are you from: -Where did you hear about this community: -Anything else you would like to add:
You must post at least one picture of your piggy with your application. Please only enter current pets, not deceased pets or any you no longer have, you may enter up to 5 piggies to be rated. You can put a pic you intend to enter for theme week here, but that doesn't enter it into theme week, wait until you are stamped and then put it in a seperate post (see theme week rules) The first picture may be shown if it is not too large, the rest should be behind an lj cut. Please keep your pictures to a reasonable size. Your piggy will not be rated harshly or wrongly! Piggy pictures will be given a rating by the judges from 1 (low) to 10 (high). Decimals are allowed. Please give up to 3 days from your posted time to get stamped. Even if all the judges haven't given you a rating yet, you will receive a stamp based on the average of the scores you have at the time. Piggies will receive a different stamp based on the percentage they recieve:
85% and over - 1st rating stamp and judge position 60%-84% - 2nd rating stamp 59% and lower - 3rd rating stamp
Keep in mind that if you receive a score of 84% or lower that you still become a member, but you can't judge. If you are still not stamped after 5 days please contact martinivixen about it. Please check that your survey has been put into the memories section when you receive your stamp, if it hasn't please contact martinivixen. If you create a new LJ account or change your LJ name, please let martinivixen know so that you can maintain your judge status and we can update our listings.
STAMPED MEMBERS Theme wheek! Please put "Theme Week" in the subject of your post, and put the piggy/ies name/s under the picture. You must be stamped to submit a picture for Theme Week, but the picture doesn't have to be of the piggy you had stamped. The picture may include any number of piggies, present or previously owned, and it must pertain to the particular theme. The theme week picture must be the only picture in your post. Please keep pictures at a reasonable size. If you think the picture is too large, it should be placed behind an lj-cut tag. When you post a theme week pic please reply to the post announcing that weeks theme, saying what you would like next weeks theme to be if you win. These comments are screened so only mods can see them. If the winner has not posted what they want next weeks theme to be, the runner-up's theme will be used. If the runner-up has not posted their theme, the mods will pick a theme for the next week. You may use the same pic for more than one theme week. At the end of the week gracefulshrimp will post a poll with links to all the pictures and stamped members can vote for their favourite. Your pictures must be submitted by 2AM EST on Saturday. You may NOT vote for your own picture, and please try not to judge on picture quality. The poll will end on Monday at 9PM EST, and then the new theme the winner chose will be posted by gracefulshrimp.
JUDGES Please be kind when rating, constructive criticism is ok, but do it gently, also please try not to vote on the quality of the pictures, but on the piggies themselves. You don't have to vote every time, but it would be appreciated if you took the time to rate some. Please bold the score (this is how to bold: score here) given when you comment, and please put it in the title bar as well as the reply text. Thanks!
Deceased Piggins If your original rating was for a piggie that has since, sadly, passed over the bridge, you do still retain your Judge position. You are welcome to rate an additional four (total of rated pigs, including any passed pigs should be five) whenever you wish. As stated above under Theme Week, pictures of any deceased pigs are welcome in the theme week, but they must still pertain to the theme week topic. Also, you may not enter a pig for rating if it has already passed. Any additional questions, please contact gracefulshrimp, martinivixen, marie626 or pips
