Confirmation – Tactical Objective Cards back in stock on or around July 18th
I just received this email from GW.
Hello
We are contacting you today regarding your order with Games Workshop. We apologise for any inconvenience, but our dispatch department has informed us that unfortunately Tactical Objectives are currently out of stock.
We have been informed that it is not expected to return until the 18th July 2014.
Would you like us to hold the order until this item comes back in to stock or remove it from the order?
If you could reply back stating which action you would like us to take we will organise this for you as soon as possible.
Regards

While this is hardly ideal, at least GW is keeping us informed.
Fly, My Pretty!
Ok. so I have zero self control.
I’m playing my second game of the seventh edition next Sunday against a Tzeentch daemon army and the plan is to also use this game to give the new Astra Militarum codex a whirl as my guard have been neglected of late.
Yesterday I started to build up some new defences for the army, you can see them in the top right of the picture. However, I then got a bit distracted by something else. Can you guess what it is?
Pity me 😉
The Faceless Horde – the first of my Chaos Cultists emerge
Just in time, I managed to get the first of my Chaos Cultist squads ready for today’s game.
I’m really happy with how these turned out, they even performed well (as well as could be expected) in the game, but more of that in another post.
Definitely something.
Well, it’s built.
I won’t be able to completely paint it for this weekend’ game however I should be able to make it presentable enough then worry about the details next week.
Ruined… something
Now that my squad of Chaos Cultists is almost complete I decided to try and get a new piece of terrain completed for the game next Saturday. I may have bitten off a bit more than I can chew…
It’s only about half-built but all the other pieces have been clipped and tidied so I have a tiny chance of having it ready.
Khorne Berserker Rhino
After far too long (I think nearly a year), I’ve finally finished my Khorne Berserker Rhino. It’s also the first finished model I’m able to submit as part of the Games & Gears Paint Day 2014.
Quick and dirty chaos cultist
Is there any other sort? Anyway, I’ve had a change of plan and since my first game of the 7th edition is coming up I thought I’d go for quantity over quality so I dusted off the 35 cultists that have been sitting unhappy and undercoated for far too long and got cracking.
This gent took me about forty minutes.
I think it’s up to a decent standard but as these guys are basilar a horde unit I really don’t have time to give them that much individual attention.
Possessed Chaos Space Marines – WIP 2
Today was the first chance I had to really progress these minis since the weekend. After a further couple of hours, here’s what they look like.
My initial plan was to batch paint them as I do with my more normal marines but after adding the rest of the blue effects to the armour I realised that they’re just too damn different!
As such I decided to start with Batboy, at this stage he does look far too cartoony but I’ve only just started on the red effects.
I really like these models, I’m definitely going to get some more, both of the Citadel plastic and the new fancy Forge World Gal Vorbak models that they teased us with last month. Aren’t they lovely?
Lunchtime Reading
After returning from a meeting, a box containing these was waiting on my desk 🙂
Since the 7th edition BRB doesn’t have the terrain dataslates for things like the Aegis Defence Line, it’s a good thing that I picked this up when I did,l as my guardsmen aren’t getting any tougher!
