I wondered if LJ was going to be in danger and now it really might be. I've been here so long, have so MANY entries...there's no way it can all be backed up in any way. This is terrible!

I've had a Dreamwidth account for many years, but haven't used it since 2013. Guess that'll change now.

I'm heartbroken! First of all, I had to hunt down this news on Twitter. Why it wasn't all over my timeline with all the local news accounts I follow is beyond me.

I've been a Seahawks fan most of my life. I've seen great players come and go, but this really hurts. I've liked Wilson from the start, loved his positive attitude, and his great leadership qualities. And OMG can the man throw a football! Perfect accuracy. And the way he avoids getting tackled? Legendary. Then there's Wagner, another amazing player who's been with the team for so long. This is an awful 1-2 punch. Sure, the Seahawks had a terrible time last season, but some of it was just bad luck.

I just can't imagine the Seahawks without Russell. He wanted to stay here, spend the rest of his career here in Seattle. Now it's over...

Don't know if any of you have been listening to Rich & Rob's podcast of "And My Guest Is Richard Speight" since March (or was it April)? Anyway, it's been this wonderful little oasis of humor in this pandemic. The best part (other than Rich & Rob simply being themselves) are Rob's little theme songs. There's a bunch of them!

It's official (for now): SPN goes back to finish filming the last 2 episodes of Season 15 later this month. The actors are all preparing to head north to Vancouver again (no doubt early to be in quarantine for 2 weeks).

I'm happy the show will finally be filming it's finale, so we can eventually see it, but I'm hesitant about filming starting up so soon with COVID-19 still running wild here in the US and possibly in BC Canada (there's been issues w/people still having large gatherings w/no social distancing). As we've already seen with the recently started baseball season, anything can happen.

Most of all, I want the boys, all the actors, and the crew to be able to remain safe while still giving us the series finale they'd originally planned. I'd hate for us to lose anything due to restrictions because they wanted to hurry up and get it filmed. I'm personally willing to wait. It hasn't been pleasant waiting, but safety first in my book. Anyway, I wish them all the best of luck in finishing up filming.

I'm used to a few of the SPN actors Liking my Wakelet collections of Tweets from the cons: Rachel Miner, even David Haydn Jones, but I was absolutely giddy when I saw that Rob Benedict himself Liked my Collection of Tweets from his and Jake Abel's panel from the Las Vegas Con last night!

I checked the account 3 times before I made this little Tweet about it. From the timing, he must have done it before the Saturday Night Special concert. Eeeee!!!! :D

With so many shows ending soon (shhhhh!) and my internet situation improving, I'm looking for new shows to start watching. I posted this to Twitter yesterday evening and got a lot of responses! Of course, I'd love for my LJ friends (and lurkers) to offer up their suggestions as well.

You may wonder how I ended up timing all the Sam & Dean hugs on SPN. Well, somebody wondered if the hug in 14x12 was the longest and SuperWiki inquired and I volunteered! It was actually really quick & easy for me to do. The hardest part was finding my old stopwatch. Then I thought the battery was dead & had a terrible time getting the darned thing out! But I put it back in and voila! It worked again. But timing the hugs? Easy peasy! :D
