This research had a purpose to result in student's activity sheet based on contextual teaching an... more This research had a purpose to result in student's activity sheet based on contextual teaching and learning toward movement of heat subject that validate, practical. The research method used developing on 4d model. This research held on even semester in 2019 experts validation show that the student's activity sheet had been fulfilled of valid criteria with 84.583% for material and design aspect is 82.5%. The small group trial resulted in an average value of 91, 18%. The result of this research showed that student's activity sheet based on contextual teaching and learning toward movement of heat subject had been fulfilled of valid criteria.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran keterampilan proses sains (KPS) mahasiswa pada... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran keterampilan proses sains (KPS) mahasiswa pada pokok bahasan gaya dan gambaran hasil belajar yang diperoleh setelah diterapakan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada perkuliahan semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2017-2018. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Observasi dilakukan saat kegiatan pratikum berlangsung. Tes diberikan setelah 5 kali pertemuan. Berdasarkan observasi gambaran keterampilan proses sains untuk keterampilan mengobservasi sebesar 82,20%, keterampilan mengukur sebesar 73,64%, keterampilan mengkomunikasikan data sebesar 53,36%, keterampilan mengklasifikasi sebesar 47,61%, keterampilan memprediksi sebesar 47,53%, dan keterampilan menyimpulkan 52,33%. Sedangkan gambaran hasil belajar fisika dengan menerapkan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains berdasarkan analisa data tes didapatkan rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa adalah 66,06. This study aimed to construct test instrument of critical thinking skills of high school students... more This study aimed to construct test instrument of critical thinking skills of high school students related the concept on sound wave. This research using a mixed methods with sequential exploratory design, consists of: 1) a preliminary study; 2) design and review of test instruments. The form of test instruments in essay questions, consist of 18 questions that was divided into 5 indicators and 8 sub-indicators of the critical thinking skills expressed by Ennis, with questions that are qualitative and contextual. Phases of preliminary study include: a) policy studies; b) survey to the school; c) and literature studies. Phases of the design and review of test instruments consist of two steps, namely a draft design of test instruments include: a) analysis of the depth of teaching materials; b) the selection of indicators and sub-indicators of critical thinking skills; c) analysis of indicators and sub-indicators of critical thinking skills; d) implementation of indicators and sub-indicators of critical thinking skills; and e) making the descriptions about the test instrument. In the next phase of the review test instruments, consist of: a) writing about the test instrument; b) validity test by experts; and c) revision of test instruments based on the validator.

Along with the rapid development of technology and the progress of the times, a modern applicatio... more Along with the rapid development of technology and the progress of the times, a modern application with high precision and accuracy is needed and a short processing time. The same goes for physics problems. In numerical calculation, it is necessary to have calculations with good accuracy and precision. Computation an modeling using the runge-kutta method and the euler method in this research article will be used to calculate the process of charging and discharging an RC circuit capacitor which is an exponential function of time. The purpose of this study is to obtain an approximation solution to the RC electrical circuit. Based on the results of the study with values of E=12V, R=800000 ohm, C=500000 farads, and h=0,1, it was found that: (1) the data generated by charging the capacitor experienced a significant increase in voltage with increasing time for 0-100 iteration, with a time of 0-10 seconds, the runge-kutta method 0-4,76E-11V and the euler method 0-4,79E-11V. (2) it can be seen that the data generated on the discharge of the capacitor is opposite of the capacitor charging process, namely the voltage will decrease over time, the euler method 4,79E-11-7,55E-14V and the runge-kutta method 4,79E-11-4,14E-13 V when the graph of charging capacitor with the runge-kutta method with the euler method is not so see a big difference as well as the discharge of the capacitor by the runge-kutta method by the euler method.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggunakan instrumen tes diagnostik 4 tahap untuk mengidentifikasi misk... more Penelitian ini bertujuan menggunakan instrumen tes diagnostik 4 tahap untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi fisika siswa kelas X materi gerak lurus. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian survei. Survei dilakukan di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang, selaku sekolah yang dijadikan subjek penelitian. Tes diagnostik 4 tahap terdiri atas 4 tingkatan, yaitu pilihan ganda, tingkat keyakinan pilihan, alasan dan tingkat keyakinan alasan. Miskonsepsi siswa dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis persentase. Hasil diagnosis menunjukkan bahwa persentase siswa yang paham konsep sebesar 8,75%, persentase siswa yang tidak paham konsep sebanyak 45,75%, persentase siswa yang mengalami error 6,44% dan persentase siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi adalah 38,46%. Miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada siswa diakibatkan karena kurangnya pemahaman konsep pada materi gerak lurus. This is an open access article under the CC-BY-SA license

This study was aimed to construct a test instrument to assess critical thinking skills of high sc... more This study was aimed to construct a test instrument to assess critical thinking skills of high school students the concept of sound waves. The research uses a research and development method (RD 2) the design and review phase; 3) testing phase involving 249 high school students. Test instruments consists of 12 essay questions contain 4 indicator and 9 sub indicators of critical thinking skills expressed by Ennis, with the questions that are qualitative and contextual. The quality of the test instruments is valid and high reliability. Based on the results of hypothesis testing two different average values, the result is the test instrument can distinguish between the critical thinking skills of students who had the learning process to exercise critical thinking skills, with students whose learning process did not exercise critical thinking skills.
