When you buy or win an evolution item, you have to go to "My Pokemon" from the Trainer HQ tab, scroll down to the Pokemon you want to evolve, and look at the far right, there should be an option that says "Evolve me!" Click that, then click the "Evolve!" button on the next screen.

i don't no ha ha --> actually, you can.. just buy a stone you want.. then choose the Pokemon that needs a stone to evolve then press evolve.. that's just it ! you lose 1 stone each evolution... :) thanks.. hope this helps..
