Oh, dude, Molly Weasley didn't need a fancy spell to take down Bellatrix Lestrange. She just used good old-fashioned motherly rage and a well-placed curse. It's like when your mom gives you that look that says, "I am not messing around," and suddenly you know you're in trouble. Molly just brought that to a whole new level.

Oh, my friend, in the world of magic and wonder, we focus on spreading joy and kindness. Let's leave the dark spells behind and instead paint a happy little tree or a fluffy cloud. Remember, there's always room for positivity and light in our hearts.

In the Harry Potter series, Molly Weasley used the spell "Reducto" to kill Bellatrix Lestrange during the Battle of Hogwarts. "Reducto" is a powerful spell that causes the target to explode or disintegrate upon impact. Molly's use of this spell showcased her fierce determination and protective instinct for her loved ones.

It isn't known exactly what spell was used but it quite likely could have been the same one that killed Sirius Black as it was noted that they died in the same way. It wasn't the killing curse though as there was no mention of a green light.

In the movies, she turned to stone and then exploded - which did not happen in the books.

"What will happen when to your children when I've killed you?" taunted Bellatrix, as mad as her master, capering as Molly's curses danced around her. "When Mummy's gone the same way as Freddie?" "You - will - never - touch - our - children - again!" screamed Mrs Weasley.

Bellatrix laughed, the same exhilarated laugh her cousin Sirius had given as he toppled backwards through the veil, and suddenly Harry knew what was going to happen before it did.

Molly's curse soared beneath Bellatrix's outstretched arm and hie her squarely in the chest, directly over her heart.

Bellatrix's gloating smile froze, her eyes seemed to bulge: for the tiniest space of time she knew what had happened, and then she toppled, and the watching crowd roared, and Voldemort screamed.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

Chapter Thirty Six: The Flaw in the Plan. Pages 589 - 590.

Bloomsbury Publishing 2007.

Bellatrix sends a killing curse at Ginny Weasley that she missed by an inch. Molly, who had already lost her son (Fred), started duelling with Bellatrix and eventually killed her.

It is unknown what curse was used to kill her, although since there was no mention of green light and Bellatrix did not seem to die instantly, we know it wasn't the killing curse. It is possibly the same curse Bellatrix used when she killed Sirius.

Bellatrix taunting Molly about Fred's death has led to the misconception that she killed him. In fact, Fred was killed when a wall collapsed on him after an explosion caused by Augustus Rockwood.

In the film, Bellatrix's waist is shrunk and then she turns to stone and explodes. This was probably changed because such a death looks better on screen.

Mrs Weasley's spell is unknown as it is not mentioned in the book but she did not use the killing curse (she would be imprisoned for that) so it could of been a plain curse directed at the heart of Mrs Lestrange.

I don't think she uses Avada Kedavra, it would be not like her. As Bellatrix herself points out in Book 5 (during the Atrium scene), you have to really want to do evil in order to use an Unforgivable Curse, and rightful anger does not cut it.

There are loads of spells which can be fatal, especially if they hit directly in the heart. Professor McGonagall almost gets killed in the same book after being hit by four stunners in the chest; another example is the curse Dolohov uses on Hermione later. And Bellatrix pretty much had her defenses down, underestimating her opponent.

I believe she used "Stupify" to stun her and then "Reducto" to kill her because she exploded just like the Death Eater dummy from Order of the Phoenix when Ginny used "reducto"
