BlakeThe Jonas brothers are originally from New Jersey. The youngest member of the band, Nick Jonas who is 15, was discovered in a barber shop. He has one album of his own titled Dear God. He was going to be signed with Columbia Records as a solo artist, but they found that Joe and Kevin also had talent so they signed all three of them as the Jonas Brothers. In their first year, their album "It's About Time" which released in 2006 did not do well. It didn't sell enough, and Columbia Records dropped them. After noticing their large number of friends on MySpace, Hollywood Records signed them. They gave them a little publicity, and BAM! Their 2007 self-titled album, Jonas Brothers, went platinum. And this year, is probably the best for the brothers. They have been nearly five tours this year already, and have attended numerous award shows. Their 2008 album, A Little Bit Longer, has been number 1 for approximately 3 weeks now. And sources say they have already started recording their next album, which will NOT be out for a LONG LONG time...
