Accessing the Forums – Tips and Tricks!

Play with Your Food does amazing work raising funds for our community, but did you know there is a wealth of knowledge right at your fingertips? Also, you can get involved in our board gaming community with Chewsday Challenge as well as other board gaming events! It’s all at community.pwyf.ca! We promote many events throughout the city there, and it’s also a go-to spot for all information related to PwYF including team handbooks!

To get started, make sure you create an account on the forums! It’s as easy as clicking on the Key icon! Once you’ve created an account you can log in and get exploring! We would recommend selecting “Forever” as the time to stay logged in, then you won’t be asked for log in information each and every time!

 Our Chewsday Challenge events are likely the most frequented part of the Community forum. You can click on one of the events in the Upcoming Events listing and then view the At a Glance at the top of the page that will tell you all of the available games that evening. If you’d like to host and teach a game, simply copy and paste the template post below the At a Glance portion and fill in the necessary information. One of our Forum moderators will add your game to the At a Glance page and you’re ready to roll!

If you want to join a game with empty spots, simply make a post stating which game you’d like to be added to, along with your name! That’s it! We add players to games in the order that they posted in the event of multiple people posting.

If anything changes and you can’t attend, just make a post and let the moderators know. They’ll adjust the At a Glance so our Ambassadors know who’s coming that evening.
