As a member of the Heroes Circle, your steadfast support ensures PVA is able to meet every Veteran in need, from day one of an injury or illness. From that moment forward we are lifelong partners, fighting for policy changes that improve the lives of paralyzed and disabled Veterans. Heroes Circle Frequently Asked Questions

What are recurring gifts and why is it so important?

Monthly, quarterly, and annual gifts provide the steady, reliable support needed to help paralyzed and disabled Veterans. This consistent generosity allows us to plan ahead, use donor dollars effectively, and invest in the programs and services our heroes depend on. Automatic recurring gifts also save you time and effort while maximizing your impact on the lives of Veterans.

Where can I learn more about the impact of my recurring gifts?

See the difference you make for our nation’s heroes in our Annual Report.

How do I update my contact information, payment method, or communications preferences?

You can update your information by calling our dedicated Heroes Circle line at 1-877-733-9995 or emailing [email protected]. We care about your privacy, so please do not send your credit/debit card or bank information via email. Our Donor Services hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (EST).

When will my donation be deducted?

On or around the day that you first made the donation. For example, for monthly gifts, if you made your first gift on March 15th, your next donation will be deducted on or around April 15th.

Is there a minimum donation amount to join Heroes Circle?

While there is no minimum donation amount to join Heroes Circle, donors who give $19 or more will receive a PVA tote bag as our thank-you gift for supporting America’s Veterans. Please note that online donations must be at least $10. If you would like to set up a monthly gift for less than $10, please call us at 1-877-733-9995, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Will I get a receipt for my donation?

If you make an online gift using PVA’s website, we will automatically send a receipt to the email you used to make your donation. If you do not see a receipt for your gift in your inbox or SPAM folder.

If you donated by phone or mail, you'll receive an official, printed confirmation letter and receipt in the mail.

If you need a copy of your donation receipt, don't hesitate to contact our Heroes Circle line at 1-877-733-9995.

How do I change the amount I give or cancel my monthly or recurring gift?

We understand that financial situations can change at any moment. You can increase, decrease, pause, change the frequency, or cancel your recurring gift by contacting us at 1-877-733-9995 or [email protected].

Will my employer match my recurring gift?

PVA has an employer matching gift program. If you work for, or are retired from, one of the many companies with a matching gift program, your gift can go twice as far to help paralyzed and disabled Veterans. See how to submit a matching gift request to PVA.

What if I still have questions?
