2025 ETS Student Scholarships and Summer Internships
The annual ETS Summer Internship Program and following Student Scholarships are now accepting applications for 2025.
In the Summer Internship Program, interns gain hands-on work experience while receiving comprehensive training in a supportive environment. Internship opportunities exist in corporate, educational assessments, technology, and product innovation. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
The Student Scholarship portal opened on January 15, 2025! Each year, ETS provides scholarships to create college access for disadvantaged students and recognize their academic achievement. These scholarships directly impact undergraduate and graduate students based on the criteria they represent.
The ETS Cares Scholarships: 100% funded by donations from ETS employees for students who, despite facing considerable personal challenges, overcame and achieved academic excellence. More than $1 million in scholarships have been awarded since the program’s inception in 2011.

Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Thermal-Fluid Science – Auburn Univ., Dept. of Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Auburn University has an open full-time tenure-track faculty position to begin in August 2025. Candidates with expertise in the Thermal Sciences, including, but not limited to, electronic thermal management, renewable energy systems, energy and thermal storage solutions, high-performance buildings, propulsion, advanced thermal materials, new metrologies, and artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning methodologies in thermal sciences. Research or industry experience in the aforementioned areas is preferred. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field at the time employment begins. Candidates will be considered at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels. Applicants at the Associate and Full Professor levels must have active nationally or internationally recognized research programs. The candidates selected for these positions must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. Auburn University: The ME Department currently has 51 faculty members and supports strong graduate and undergraduate programs in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering. Enrollments during the Fall Semester 2024 include 800 undergraduate students in major and 200 graduate students. Current departmental areas of research strength include additive manufacturing, unmanned and robotic systems, biomechanics, electronic packaging and reliability, solid mechanics and advanced materials, electronics cooling and thermal management, tribology, advanced powertrains, MEMS, and energy systems.
