MTI Educational Foundation Scholarship

The MTI Educational Foundation Scholarship Program is open to students who are interested in a career in metallurgy, materials, engineering, industrial, mechanical sciences.  Applicants must be currently enrolled, or recently accepted, as a full or part-time student in a nationally accredited college/technical school in the areas of materials science, metallurgy or engineering/technician certificate with focus in mechanical, electrical or industrial sciences. Annual scholarships are awarded directly to the students.

Scholarships Available for MS^2 Master Program @ Dortmund University

We are pleased to announce that our International Master Program MS^2
(Mechanics of Sustainable Materials and Structures) has received an
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master funding of 4 Millions Euros from the
European Commission.

This implies that we will be able to pay scholarships of about 1400
Euros/month for the whole duration of the programme (24 months)to the
best 15 students each year.

Other financial aids can be assigned to those students who are not able
to secure the EMJM scholarship.

The program expands Purdue students’ involvement in service-learning opportunities in partnership with communities, non-profit agencies, schools, and governmental bodies. 2024-2025 Indiana SMRP Scholarship

The Indiana Chapter of the Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP-Indiana) values the importance of higher education and therefore strives to create opportunities for students in engineering, maintenance, and reliability-related
concentrations by providing financial assistance in the form of a scholarship for qualified individuals. To meet this need, the SMRP-Indiana Board of Directors has authorized a $1000 scholarship to a student currently enrolled in a maintenance, reliability, or engineering degree in the State of Indiana. If the applicant is not attending an Indiana school then they must be a resident of Indiana. Scholarship applicants are judged based on course work and extracurricular activities, including work experience and leadership activities, related to the fields of engineering, reliability and maintenance, the letter of recommendation, and the applicant’s essay. Recipients will receive scholarship money via a deposit at the Financial Aid Office of their university, for the use of purchasing books and supplies, covering lab fees and tuition expenses.

Experimental Education Scholarship-EXTENDED DEADLINE

The Office of Experiential Education (ExEd) has a scholarship available for students participating in experiential education. Student must be participating in an ExEd opportunity offered by Purdue University. Experiences can include internships, study abroad/away, co-op, field experiences, student teaching, practicum, service-learning, undergraduate research, and co-curricular opportunities.

To qualify, students must be a Purdue West Lafayette or Indianapolis undergraduate or Pharm D student, in good academic standing, be enrolled full-time or part-time during the semester of participation in the experience and meet the financial aid citizenship requirements. Scholarships can be awarded in amounts of up to $2000 for the term. The amount awarded may vary depending on the type of experiential education opportunity and expenses related to the experience.

Scholarships are merit-based, and these funds are intended to supplement other scholarship funds or a student’s own personal funds. To qualify, applications must be submitted by the appropriate due date as listed below:

For winter 2024 or spring 2025 funds, applications are due by EXTENDED DEADLINE: December 17.

For summer 2025 funds, applications are due by February 22.

Industrial Scholarship Application Now Open!

The Purdue Engineering Student Council (PESC) is excited to announce that applications for the Industrial Scholarship are now open!   Every year, PESC hosts Industrial Roundtable, which is one of the largest student-run career fairs in the nation. One way that PESC enhances the job fair experience for students is by offering the Industrial Scholarship, which is sponsored by companies participating in the fair.

This is a merit-based scholarship that will be awarded to students who demonstrate a significant commitment to their education and community. It is open to all undergraduate engineering students at Purdue. The judges for the Industrial Scholarship are Purdue professors with experience in various fields, and they will evaluate all applications based on academic merit, volunteer work, and overall quality.

To apply for the Industrial Scholarship, please complete the application by May 31st, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST. We will notify all recipients at the beginning of the 2024 Fall Semester.

Emerson Now Accepting Applications for 2024-2025 Discrete Automation Scholarship

Two academic merit award winners will receive financial support and grants for collegiate STEM research and educational programs.

Emerson is inviting U.S. college students pursuing degrees in science, technology and engineering fields to apply for its 2024-2025 Discrete Automation Scholarship. Every year the merit-based award recognizes two ambitious problem solvers with a $5,000 scholarship each, eligibility for an Emerson internship and $1,000 research grants to enhance their schools’ engineering programs. Applicants may apply through July 31,2024.

Emerson’s scholarship rewards individuals pursuing STEM professions in fields such as engineering, instrumentation, systems, and automation that are critical to discrete automation applications. The financial support and recognition provided by the scholarship helps students with great potential emerge as leaders ready to shape their field.

Only U.S. citizens and legal U.S. residents may apply. Eligible applicants will have completed at least the first year of a bachelor’s degree program or are enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited U.S. educational institution of higher learning at the time of application.

PESC Scholarship Opportunity

Hello Purdue Students, 

Applications for the PESC Resilience Scholarship, a new scholarship sponsored by the Purdue Engineering Student Council, are now open! This scholarship works to recognize students within the College of Engineering that have faced adversity throughout the course of their life and have exhibited resilience when facing these challenges, enabling them to mature into the person they are today. 

The PESC Resilience Scholarship is open to all undergraduate engineering students at Purdue who will be graduating in December 2023 or beyond. All eligible students are highly encouraged to apply!

The Lenora M. Green Scholarship Has Launched!

I wanted to touch base because there is another new ETS national scholarship opportunity designed to support a full-time freshman, sophomore, or junior at a public or private four-year U.S. college or university during the 2023–2024 academic school year. The deadline is coming up so if you can help spread the word, that would be great!  The scholarship award is $20,000 and the application deadline is April 3, 2023.

The inaugural scholarship is named in honor of the late Lenora M. Green, former Executive Director of the Center for Advocacy & Philanthropy at ETS. She focused CAAP’s mission on using social investment and advocacy programs to mitigate challenges in higher education faced by disadvantaged groups by identifying, supporting, and helping national, regional, and local organizations that advance quality and equity in education.
