This technology involves a dry testing method, different from the present one, which requires huge amounts of water and afterwards drying devices, that lead to increased costs of the product and environmental damage. We intend to propose a new testing possibility and prove its advantages in comparison to the one used at the present moment.

During machining, defects are introduced into the work piece, and tools wear rapidly. Traditional machining techniques such as drilling or sawing can be used with proper tool design and operating conditions. In this article is presented a review of traditional machining methods applied to organic and matrix composite.

It is necessary to drill holes in fibrous composites for joining them by bolting. Drilling of fibrous composite presents many problems like -delaminating, fibre/resin pullout, excessive tool wear. In the present work, drilling of glass fibre/epoxy and carbon fibre/epoxy laminates is studied using high speed steel and tungsten carbide coated drills. The effect of cutting speed, feed and number of holes on tool wear, thrust and torque is studied.

The optimization of the characteristics of brittle materials superfinishing machine is very important because they directly influence the quality of workpieces surfaces. The performances of the superfinishing machine linkages are increasingly higher, due to the following requirements: very high quality workpieces surface, reduced time for feed workpieces to machine tools, better interconnections between machine tools are used in the technological process, high flexibility.

This paper presents the results of the researches with application in production for the innovati... more This paper presents the results of the researches with application in production for the innovative realization of the double gear pumps with minimum axial gauge and minimum number of parts for the increase of reliability in use and reducing the production costs. The innovative design characteristic is represented by adaptive dimensioning with minimum gauge, depending on requirements, the type of drive, the fixing method, the connections for the hydraulic circuit and intermediary sealing between stages which allows the operation with different liquid mediums. The innovative technological characteristic is on integrated adaptive system (lean production) using computer assisted manufacturing on CNC machines with minimal production time and high quality. This way of production of double gear pumps is obtaining significant reductions in the cost of manufacturing and much smaller gauges the double pump available on the market.

Due to special conditions required by the process of micro injection molding, chemical, physical and thermal properties of the injected polymeric material are affected, material behaviour is different compared with that during the classical process of injection moulding and so, optimization of parameters of the injection process is needed. This work has shown the process of optimization of micro injection in template given a medical application. A numerical analysis has been performed using the Autodesk Moldflow Insight software given a "surgical micro-stitch" marker device.

Especially for industrial and technical design, rendering process is not given due attention. This paper presents a way to achieve realistic images in the technical field. Creating quality images in CAD programs depends on Render. Render is the process of creating a sequence of images of a scene. CAD graphics programs make intense mathematical calculations and apply the laws of physics to achieve in a realistic way light, shadows, reflections and textures. The render of lights, shadows and textures is realized using Render software that includes two basic categories: ray casting and ray tracing. Ray casting can lead to the creation of high-quality images using light, shadows, textures and different effects. However, for a greater realism, requires reflection and refraction which can be achieved with ray tracing.
