Present and Future tenses
1.1 Present Simple
uso:
- hábitos e rotinas
- ações de caráter permanente
- ideias, opiniões
- sentimentos ou estados

- afirmativa: verbo + (-s/-es/-ies com he/she/it)

1.2 Present Continuous
uso:
- ações a decorrer no momento da fala
- situações temporárias
- hábitos temporários
- hábitos irritantes (always)
- compromissos futuros (com data e local prévios)
expressões:
- now; at the moment; at present; these days; nowadays; today; tomorrow; next week;

forma:
- afirmativa: am/is/are + verbo + ing

- previsões (baseadas na nossa opinião)

uso:
- previsões (baseadas em evidências)
- planos futuros
- intenções
forma:
- afirmativa: am/is/are + going to + verbo no infinitivo
- negativa: am/is/are not + going to + verbo no infinitivo

Past tenses
2.1 Past Simple
uso:
- ações que decorreram num momento bem definido do passado
- uma sequência de acontecimentos no passado
- uma ação que interrompeu outra ação no passado

- yesterday; last week/month/year; two days/ten minutes ago; in 2019; then; when;

2.2 Past Continuous

- duas ou mais ações simultâneas no passado (while)
- ação em progresso quando a outra a interrompeu

2.3 Past Perfect
uso:
- ação que é anterior a outra no passado ou que acontece antes de um determinado
ponto no passado
- ação que exprime causa para uma ação passada

- afirmativa: had + verbo no past participle

Hello sis, how are you?
This first week in the Netherlands was difficult. There are many differences in relation
to Portugal.
Most food is processed. But I was lucky, my accommodation is next to a soup shop.
The city is beautiful, it snows almost every day and it is very cold.
I'm looking forward to seeing you at Christmas, you'll love it.
Don't worry about me, I'm fine and having the best experience of my life.
