Utilização do "present continuous" em eventos futuros.
Vejamos o texto a seguir:

Além de ser utilizado para descrever uma ação/estado/situação que está
ocorrendo no momento da fala, o "present continuous" pode ser usado
para falar de planos/ações ou eventos futuros, sendo sempre eventos
temporários e os verbos sempre exprimem uma ação. Ou seja: não se
usam os tempos contínuos para descrever percepções (ouvir / degustar /
cheirar / ver / etc); pensamentos (pensar / acreditar / esperar / concordar /
querer dizer / entender / etc); emoções (gostar / desgostar / amar / se
arrepender / respeitar / desejar / etc); aparência (parecer / etc); posse
(pertencer / ter / ser dono / possuir / etc); desejos e outros (desejar /
precisar / preferir / querer / desejar / custar / importar-se / recusar / etc).
Em razão da temporariedade explicitada nos tempos contínuos, algumas
expressões são típicas deles, tais como "now, right now, at the moment, at
this moment, at the present time (agora, bem agora, no momento, neste
momento, no tempo presente).
O "PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE" pode expressar uma idéia de futuro de
TEMPO DEFINIDO (junto de um advérbio de tempo).
O modo de utilização do "present continuous" para indicar o futuro é bem
simples: basta empregar a mesma estrutura usada normalmente no
presente e agregar um adjetivo ou expressão indicativa de futuro, ex.:
tomorrow, next week, next month.
Ex.:
They are leaving for France next Tuesday.
(Eles estão partindo para a França na próxima terça-feira.)

A formação de frases no "present continuous" segue a presente estrutura:
Pessoa + to be + verbo ING + complemento
She + is + studyING + English
Para indicar o futuro, basta acrescentar uma expressão indicativa deste
tempo:
Pessoa + to be + verbo ING + complemento indicativo de tempo
She + is + studyING + English + next week
