I am the founder of Protoweb, and would like to thank you for considering a donation. Every volunteer contributor including myself work very hard to build a high quality service for everyone to use for free. It is manual work, and restoring just one website to the standard it deserves can take up to several weeks. However, we love and cherish what we do, and we hope you enjoy Protoweb as much as we enjoy building it.

We need donations from people like you so we can afford our operating costs, and development of new services, all of which we have been historically paid from our own pockets. As the service grows, it becomes harder to continue to self-fund the platform.
